The next day was still awkward with thoughts of yesterday's morning but, Max still got through it.
"mmmh-MORNING MAXY!" David screamed as soon as he woke up.
Max groaned and furrowed his brow, contemplating whether to kill himself or not.
"shhh-shut the fuck up...it's too goddamn early for this shit"
"Aw max but today's the first day of REAL CAMP! Aren't you excited???" David gleamed with bright energy and it was killing Max.

"Ok campers! Today is the first day of camp and to start it off wheel be having Archey first! As you know archey can be dangerous and yo-"

"David stfu just tell em how to shoot"
"Okee dokee then! All you have to do is point at the target, pull back and then let go!"
All the kids started to line up with the target, some struggling while others not so much.
The out of nowhere one of the campers drop their arrows on the ground while ones still in the bow. That's not smart.
So obviously the arrow flies out of the bow in David's direction. Max, who is standing right beside him pushes david out the way.
"f-FUCK! That shit hit me in the eye!" Max got caught in crossfire.
"Max are you okay?" David start moving Max's hands to show a bruise forming, it's not bad but, could use some ice.
"Okay kids everyone back to their tents and get ready for lunch, Max and I will be right back!"
David walks Max back over to the counselors cabin. When they get inside he sets him on a table and goes to get some ice and bandages.
"Man this really fucking hurts..."
"First of all, watch your language. Second, here's some ice."
David lightly presses the ice against his eye, making sure not to hurt him anymore than he is.
They catch glances for a second and Max looks away.
"OH I'm sorry did I hurt you??" David says completely worried.
"Uh- N-no your fine"
"Okay then I get you a bandage and we'll be set"
David grabs a big bandage and an eyepatch. Slowly, David peels off the wrapping and begins to press it to maxs face. Max blushes but doesn't move. He starts to lean in a little closer, putting his hand on Max's knee, making sure the bandage is on right.
"Aaaaaaaand your all set! We can go eat now if you'd like?"David says after slipping the eyepatch on his head.
"S-sure." Max is having a heart attack right now.
A love heart attack.
