I rushed to the cafeteria, praying that Alli would be there, sitting at our usual spot, waiting for me.
The moment I saw his face I panicked and ignored him, as if he never existed. First class felt like an eturnity. I had to ignore him all class and prayed that he would stop.
As soon as I entered the cafeteria, I scanned for my best friend then ran towards her when I caught her eye.
"You need need NEED to tell me what happened back in art class, dude! You were red as a tomato!" She said while screaming at the top of her lungs, but no one seemed to care.
"Ok... Ok," I paused, trying to calm myself. "Do you remember that guy I keep on talking about??" I asked.
"Yeah, why?? Did you see him??"
"Yes... Art class." I asnwered.
"Dude, how hot is he?? I didn't get a good look at him, sitting at the back corner of the class sucks." She complained.
"I'll tell you when I spot him." As soon as I looked up to see if the line in the cafeteria shortened, I saw him. I immediately elbowed Alli and panicked. "Right there! Right there! Asdfghjkl!"
"Dude calm down! Jeeze, where?!" I pointed at the end of the line and she followed my finger. "Dude, that's Brent Tucker, my ex." She said with a disgusted face.
"Holy shi- behind him!" I screamed.
"Oh- Why hello there." She said then started standing up. I grabbed her wrist just in time.
"Alli, down." I ordered, she obeyed.
"But- but- he-"
"Hasn't changed one bit." I finished for her.
"Ooohhhhhh, little miss artsy here finally found someone." She said in a teasing way. "Go talk to him!" She insisted.
"Are you kidding me?? No- Alli- Crap, don't even." I warned her.
"Don't even what??" She asked innocently, but she had the most devilish smirk in the whole world.
"You know what, forget it, i'm going to the library, screw you." I said then I grabbed my bag and walked out, I heard Alli laugh but I ignored her.
††††††††††††††††††††
I regret everything.
As soon as I entered the library Matte greeted me with his... Annoying features.
"Hey there babe." He said.
"Not now please, I don't have time to talk to you." I said but not too harsh.
He placed his right hand over his heart pretending to be hurt. "Ouch. That's new, such a cold response."
I ignored that comment and went straight to the History isle. I need need need to look up 1830's. Appearently, that's the year the first camera was made, I must know how. I scanned through the books, 1828, 1829 aaand... There! I was near the edge of the bookshelf and grabbed the book.
"So yeah, I ran to school today...." Blah blah blah.
As soon as I pulled it, it wouldn't move. I pulled again and it moved a little bit. The next this I knew the book was pulled to the other side, with my hand still attached to it.
I hit my forehead square on the shelf. "Shit shit shit, oowwe!" I winced, I placed my hand on my forehead but that didn't really help.
"What the- who did that??" Matte asked.
