Sister's Mercy's Birthday

Happy 20th Birthday, Melody!

The date was December 26th, 2020. It was around 6 AM in the morning, and everyone was still asleep, even Angelica d'Aglior (Agitation). Suddenly, her computer started buzzing.

Agitation: Please...shut up. Who would be up in this ungodly hour?

She got up anyway and went over to her computer while she was still in her pajamas. She accepted the message. It was her boss, Melody Sinclair (Sister's Mercy).

Sister's Mercy: Good morning, Angelica!

Agitation: How on Earth are you awake? It's 6 in the morning.

Sister's Mercy: Well, I have to be up early.

Agitation: But it's Sunday. We don't have to work on Sundays.

Sister's Mercy: Maybe I just want to get up early to get YOU up.

Agitation: Haha, very funny.

Sister's Mercy: Did you have a good Christmas?

Agitation: Yeah, I did. Did you?

Sister's Mercy: Well, I spent Christmas alone. But yeah. I had fun.

Agitation: Oh. If I had known that, I could've came over to your house.

Sister's Mercy: It's okay, Angie. Maybe next year. Do you want to know another reason on why I woke you up?

Agitation: What?

Sister's Mercy: Today is December 26th, and it's my 20th birthday.

Agitation: Is it really? Ciel didn't tell me that.

Sister's Mercy: Are you sure? Maybe you have the memory of your parents.

Agitation: Hey! My memory isn't that bad!

???: Angie? Why are you up so early?

Angie saw her boyfriend Ciel rubbing his eyes from sleep. He went over to her.

Agitation: Speak of the devil. Good morning. I didn't mean to wake you up.

Ciel: Who are you talking to?

Agitation: My boss. You remember that I work at Pray For The Tea, right?

Ciel: Oh. Hi, Melody.

Sister's Mercy: Hi, Ciel. It's my birthday today.

Ciel: Well, happy birthday.

Sister's Mercy: Thank you. Like I told your girlfriend, I'm turning 20.

Agitation: Ciel isn't used to getting up early, are you?

Ciel just shook his head. Apparently, he was still tired. His head went over to Angie's shoulder and laid there.

Sister's Mercy: You 2 are so cute.

Agitation: Yeah. So, when do I start working again?

Sister's Mercy: Tomorrow. But because of New Year's coming up, this is going to be a short week, too. We'll work on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

Agitation: Only those 3 days. Got it.

She looked over at Ciel. He was asleep again.

Sister's Mercy: Well, I guess your little prince is tired still.

Agitation: I'll put him back to bed now. Happy birthday again, Melody. I'll be there tomorrow.

Sister's Mercy: Okay. You guys have a good day.

Angelica ended the chat there. Then she picked up Ciel bridal-side style back to his room. She gently laid him on the bed and tucked him in. She kissed his head. Then she went back to her room and also went back to sleep.
