Episode IV: The Night's Rest
Previously on The Mandalorian S3:
"It's okay. Romance on the battlefield is common. Even moreso for our culture. You are a living being, feelings are normal. Just make sure you're ready for the possible turmoil that may follow.""Oh... Uh um... I-I gotta go polish my Armor." She excused herself. She made her way to door when she paused and looked to the ground. "Thank you... Uncle."
...
"I know I am not known to any of you but... You are my people. As different as some of our traditions may be, we are warriors of honour. We are Mandalorians. We could be foundlings as I once was or we could be born into this but it doesn't matter. We will do what we do best. Hunt, Conquer and Dominate. I have a rough idea of how we can retake our world. And believe me... It will work. When retake our home... Anyone who dares oppose us will think again about messing with Mandalorians. This Is The Way... The Way Of Mandalore. For Mandalore."
"FOR MANDALORE!"
Din was led to a village like area where many Mando's called home. They all bowed in respect to their new Mand'alor. News travels fast. Din nodded to them and followed Bo into her home.
"I see that I'm being accepted easier than you thought." "Yes. You are the first Mand'alor who was a foundling. It's quite an extraordinary feat. Many of our founding warriors will be extremely loyal to you" Bo hinted. "I would think so."
She made her way to her bed and bent on the ground. Din blushed at the sight of her arched back and raised ass....ets. Assets.
She stood upright with a box in hand. "..... Hey! You okay?" She asked. Din was blushing up a storm for the first in a very long time. "Yeah umm. Yeah. I was lost in thought." He lied. She smirked and produced a box.
She opened them to reveal two RA-4c blaster pistols. "R4's." He stated. "These belonged to my father. It was a gift from my mother. And this is me following family tradition."
Din picked up the blasters in his hands and observed them. 100hrs charge. Quick draw capabilities. Visor-uplink. Perfect for a rough and tough gunslinger like himself. "Thank you."
He placed the box on a bed side counter. With a yawn from Bo he noticed it was nighttime. "You should get some sleep." Din advised. "Good idea. I take the left half you take the right." She said. Din cocked his head in confusion.
"What you wanna sleep on the floor?" She asked sarcastically. She wanted him to sleep in the same bed with her. "No... Atleast wear a blindfold please." He asked. Though she's seen his face, that doesn't mean he's brave enough to make it a common practice. "Oh, you have quite the kink, Din." Bo teased. "Hey!" He whined. "Alright don't get your Beskar in twist. I'll wesr a blindfold."
She began un-clipping her Armor plates. Din watched as the ancient Beskar heaved from her upper body. She placed it on an armor stand and removed her tunic leaving her in her sports bra. She stretched on her toes and sighed. "Whoo. I've been in that armor for days. I'm gonna use the refresher okay?" "Sure." "And no peaking." She teased. "Not gonna happen." He said stoically. "Your no fun." She chuckled.
She gathered some clothes and disappeared behind the refresher doors.
Din finally felt comfortable enough to remove his armor. Unlike her's, Din's armor was made of solid pieces. Instead they were forged as plates. Fortunately his newly acquired armor stand accounted for that and has Beskar attractive magnetics.
After removing his final piece, the backplate, he removed his tunic to reveal his bare chest. Removing his helmet with a sigh of relief, he placed it with the rest of his armor.
