Zach and Frankie haven't seen each other since Halloween and they were about due to reunite here again soon. Zach had been busy doing things for his YouTube channel, and Frankie had recently auditioned for the Broadway show Rock of Ages. It had been a week since Frankie's audition and he was patiently awaiting the phone call to see if he had gotten the part or not.
Frankie had just gotten home from a workout session, he grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge as he set his phone on the table. He sat on the counter drinking the bottle of water as he heard his phone vibrating against the table, he set down the bottle of water and quickly grabbed his phone answering the call.
Frankie: "Hello?"
Producer: "Hello Frankie, This is the producer from the production Rock of Ages."
Frankie: "Yes hi, I'm guessing you have what could be good, or bad news for me?"
Producer: "Well, I'm sure you'll find this news quite good actually. We're calling to inform you that we've looked over your resume and we rewatched your audition tape and we're happy to say that we'd like to give you the part of Franz."
Frankie: "Oh my. Thank you so much!"
Producer: "You're more than welcome, rehershals begin on Monday see you there!"
Frankie hung up the phone as he grabbed his bottle of water off the counter taking another sip from it. He finished the bottle and picked his phone back up quickly dialing his sisters phone number. He listened to the few rings hoping she'd answer the phone if she wasn't busy with rehershal or something.
Ari: "Hey Frankie what's up?"
Frankie: "Ari! Guess who I just got off the phone with."
Ari: "Who?"
Frankie: "The producer of Rock of Ages."
Ari: "Omg and!?"
Frankie: "I got the part of Franz, and we start rehershal on Monday!"
Ari: "Omg Frankie, I knew you'd get the part. I can't wait to come catch the show! Love you big brother!"
Frankie: "Love you too Ari, I'm going to shower and then probably call Zach and let him know!"
He hung up the phone as he walked upstairs and into his bathroom, he grabbed a towel from the hall closet and shut the bathroom door behind him as he ran the water letting it get warm. He got undressed and climbed into the shower, he washed his body and sang a few showtunes while showering. He climbed out drying off some before wrapping the towel around his waist leaving the bathroom going into his bedroom. He sat down on his bed and dialed Zach's number listening to the ringing waiting for him to pick up.
Zach: "Aye Frankie, Sup dude?"
Frankie chuckled a little bit before saying something. "Oh nothing just got a call from the producer of the broadway show I auditioned for."
Zach: "Yeah? What happened?"
Frankie: "Well.. I didn't get the part."
Zach's tone in his voice changed, "Oh dude, I'm so sorry."
Frankie: "Don't be, because I actually did get the part I was just kidding."
Zach: "Dude congrats, I'll definitely be there opening night!"
Frankie: "Thanks Rance."
Zach: "No problem, I have to jet I'm in the middle of working on a YouTube video. Text me later."
Frankie: "Will do, I have to get dressed anyway!"
Okay here is a little bit of a quick update for everyone, I'm definitely going to work on some more later but I quickly whipped this out for you guys! I hope you enjoy the first update that I've posted since I first began the story!
