Chapter 13 the city of life

"I'll go out and get it don't worry,"
"No let's go together," I said to him,
"I'm only going down to to the lobby, are you gonna miss me," he said holding onto my chin, he smiled and waited for me to respond,

"Um..no just hurry up I want pizza," he rolled his eyes and kissed my cheek, I scoffed and folded my arms on the bed, ugh stop falling,

I saw him leave and he gave me a little wave,

Kai's POV

I walked down with the money in my pocket I walked up to the guy with the pizza, he was around our age and was wearing a daylight ring, what is a vampire doing delivering pizza,

I grabbed the box and passed him the money, he gave me a smile, I grinned back,

I walked to the elevator when I could sense his presence behind me I moved to the stairway, i cloaked myself as I ran up to the room, I opened the door slowly, I placed the pizza on the side,

"Kai what." I moved my finger to my mouth as I walked over to her she got up and I held her, I cloaked us when the door was kicked in,

"Now, now now, I know you are here, you hold an impure blood, unnatural an abomination," I could feel her getting angry so I slowly shushed in her ear, and stroked her silky hair, she pushed out of my clutch, her eyes glowing yellow as she picked him up with one hand,

Damn she was strong, she threw him across the room knocking over a side table,
"Who did you just call an abomination," he stared at her as I walked behind her,

"You Isobel marshal, wolf witch hybrid, what's next you! A siphon witch, unnatural, there shouldn't be mixing," she growled as she bit into his skin her eyes glowing yellow, she licked her lips and wiped off the blood with her thumb, Damn she's badass,

"Funny that because the only cure to a wolfs bite is klaus' blood hmmm... Isn't klaus a wolf vampire hybrid," she laughed in his face as she picked him up by the throat,

I swished my hand and his neck broke, I took off his ring and opened the window she threw him out and watched him burn, her eyes returned to there normal colour, she kissed me on the cheek and grabbed the pizza,

"He could have just knocked," she said eating a slice of pizza, I smiled and repaired the door with magic, I sat next to her and turned on the tv, I grabbed a piece and we sat and talked all night, it was now midnight,

"Kai you never told me what happened with your family," my smile faded and I looked at her,
"Well it's a long story," she looked at me waiting for me to finish my sentence,

"Well I was always rejected from my family they would call me an abomination and they all hated me because I didn't have my own magic, one day I realised my dad didn't want me to merge with my sister, he thought I was deluded this made me angry I decided to kill my siblings, i did like one of them tho, I left him for last and drowned him in the pool but he kept fighting me, I was like, why are you fighting you ungrateful, yea, they then sent me to the prison world after neglecting me and calling me an abomination," I stared at her and forced a smile, she wrapped her arms around me, and buried her head deep into my chest I put my hand on her back and head, she was so perfect,

"Kai none of that was your fault, you did what you had to," I stayed quiet, shit this girl, what is she doing to me,

Original POV

He was hurt and broken, I looked up at him hugging him tighter,

"Kai what's a merge," he looked at me and laughed,
"Let's just say I need to do it and you won't like it," I smiled at him, it was two in the morning and we fell asleep,

*buzz**buzz*
"Hello!" I said half awake,
"*laughing*, just called to say I'll meet you in half an hour with hope, Freya and Rebekah,"
"Ye sure of course," I mouthed get up to Kai who was staring at me, I pulled on some trousers,

"So um can Kai come?" I said into the phone,
"Well Elijah actually asked if he'd come with him and klaus, there's this new vampire group in town, they took kol and i wondered,"
"Yes he will, I'll meet you guys in the compound with Kai instead of Rousseau's okay,"

"Yep see you in half an hour," Hayley said I could hear her cooing hope before I hung up,
Kai stood up and gave me the no way in hell face, I laughed and threw him a t shirt and some deodorant,

"Kai your coming I don't care," I said turning into a space outside the abattoir, he groaned as we both got out, I locked the door and started tying my hair up he stood next to me and laughed,

"Iz we can't to that in public," I scoffed and let my hair fall down my back, he put his hand round my waist as we walked in, Hayley came down with hope and I walked out of kais hold to hope,

Hayley handed to her to me and I held her gently stroking her forehead with my finger, the wolf side of me made me very protective towards kids of my own blood,

"She's beautiful Hayley, she has your eyes," Hayley smiled and I looked back at Kai, he walked forward as klaus entered, he saw how I held her close and would protect her at all costs, he smiled at me as I handed her to him, Kai put his arm around my shoulder as Elijah, Freya and Rebekah appeared, klaus gave hope back to me,

Me, Hayley, Rebekah and Freya walked out and Elijah, klaus and kai waved us goodbye, I held her like she was a priceless artifice, even the thought of anyone other than family made me mad enough to kill them, Hayley noticed this and smiled,

"Did you say they stole kol," I said as we all sat down at the cafe, I kept on looking over to hope who was in Hayley's arm, I've never felt this way about a child before,

"Yes nik has a fetish to dagger us and stick us in coffins if we go against him," Rebekah said, I let out a small laugh,

"I've been trying to find him but he's been heavily cloaked by the strix!" Freya said putting down her coffee,

"Okay so why are we not out there fighting," I said,
"That is the plan, but these vampires some of them are nearly as old as me," Rebekah said,
"Plus there's too many of them, and it could put hope in danger," Hayley said,
"I can look after hope," Freya said,
I stood up, as did Rebekah, she handed Freya the baby, and Hayley stood up,

"Stay here it's safe from locator spells magic," she nodded and Hayley me and Rebekah walked out, looking how do you say, badass as fuck, we made it back to the compound and klaus was fighting a vampires as was Elijah, Rebekah vamp sped past two ripping their hearts out,

"Motus!" I shouted at the vampire about to snap hayleys neck,
I grabbed two of them and whacked there heads together, I looked at Hayley and Rebekah, then klaus and Elijah, more vampires came flooding in, Kai was in a different room preforming a spell,

"So, you wanna see a beast," I started breaking my bones, Hayley did the same until we where both now in wolf form, we tore heads of and bit into them as Elijah and klaus where ripping out hearts, Rebekah was defending Kai incase they entered the room he was in, blood and bodies where all over the compound, me and Hayley ran behind a wall and Elijah came to us both with towels, we walked out both of us covered in vampire blood,

"That was fun," I said stepping over a body,
"You can borrow some of my clothes," Hayley said as we went to her room to clean up,

"Thank you, but that's not all of them,"
I laughed,
"You can always call me if you wanna do that again big sis." She smiled as we both cleaned the blood off and got changed,

"Where's Kai?" I said walking to Elijah and klaus,
"He's still doing the spell," I looked up and could see him through the door, his nose was bleeding, I walked up and klaus grabbed me by the arm,

"Don't worry luv he'll be okay," I pulled my arm away and walked to Rebekah,
"Is he gonna be okay," Rebekah looked at him,
His eyes glowed white as he finished chanting, everyone vamp sped up and checked the map, I went to Kai grabbing a paper towel for his nose,

"Let's go home," I said, he smiled and put his arm over my shoulder,
