Time skip (again)

On 31st July 2007;

"Happy birthday to dad." Ginny sang along with her sons as she brought her husband's cake out of the kitchen.

"Happy birthday dad!" The 3-year-old James shouted, running towards the end of the table to hug his father.

"Yeah, dad!" The 1-year-old Albus yelled, following the same course of action his brother took.

"Thanks, guys," Harry replied, hugging his kids back.

"Now then, who wants cake?" Ginny asked in a sing-song voice while cutting a piece to which the boys shouted their 'me's

After the cake;

"Now then, it's time for presents," Ginny squealed enthusiastically.

"This one's from Ron and Hermione." Ginny continued, handing Harry the purple coloured present while shaking from anxiousness.

"Calm down Gin," Harry said, chuckling in amusement.

Ginny always did this, whether it was her birthday or someone else's, she loved presents, even if they weren't for her.

Harry wasn't surprised to find a Chudley Cannon's poster, which would go to the basement never to be seen again, and a book on defensive spells in the present.

"This one's from Uncle Fred, Uncle George, Aunty Angelina and Aunty Alicia," James said, equally as excited as his mother.

Again, Harry wasn't surprised to find shop products that, he noted, were still yet to come out.

"And this one's from Hagrid." The soft voice of his youngest son spoke, handing him the present.

And the list went on and on and on until Harry reached a present of particular 3 people.

"Now this one's from me, Albus and James," Ginny exclaimed.

As Harry opened the present, he was more than surprised to find baby clothes in that box.

"Now mummy?" James asked, jumping up and down with excitement before receiving a nod from his mother.

"Al, come with me," Ginny said, taking the clothes from her husband's hands while Harry still sat there, dumbfounded.

After a couple of minutes, his wife and son returned but his son was wearing the clothes he had gotten from them. He read what was written on the shirt in cursive writing and his hand flew to his mouth as he looked from Albus to Ginny to James and back to Albus.

It looked exactly like;

"I-you're-we're- Oh Merlin

"I-you're-we're- Oh Merlin." Harry stuttered, looking at his wife for answers while she nodded.

"I'm gonna be a big brother dad!" Al yelled, running around the room while James joined him and the adults laughed.

3 months later;

"But I wanna go in now!" 1-year-old Rose argued with her mum

"Rose I know you want to see your 2nd favourite-" Angelina was rudely cut off

"First favou-reete." Rose said, sticking her tongue out.

"First favourite aunt, but she needs to see if she's going to need to paint the baby's room purple or blue." Angelina reasoned.

"Why purple?" Albus asked.

"Well Al, if you haven't noticed, your mum hate pink." Harry said simply.

"YES! FINALLY!" Harry heard Ginny shout from her room.

"Come on in." Lisa said, her head peeking out.

"LILY LUNA POTTER! ALREADY SAID IT AND WE'RE NOT CHANGING IT! IT'S A GIRL!" Ginny shouted while punching her fist into the air.

"She said it." Lisa remarked grinning.

"Hey guys! Sorry we're late." Luna said, coming in with her husband Rolf Scamander.

"Lily Luna Potter, has a nice ring to it doesn't it?" Ginny said to which Luna froze in place.

"I was going to name the baby Remus Neville Potter if it was a boy but it's a girl!" Ginny continued, smirking at the stunned faces of Remus, Lily, Neville and Luna.

"Oh! By the way, Lisa, you and Jack are the godparents of Lily Luna Potter, that is, if you don't mind." Harry said

"I'd love to be the godfather of Lily Luna." Jack said.

"And I'd love to be the godmother." Lisa said, burying her face into Jack's chest to hide the joyous tears, streaming down her face.

"It's settled then, Lily Luna Potter's godparents will be Jack and Lisa." Ginny said, clapping her hands together while James groaned.

"Mom! I thought there would be no boring adult talk!" James said, huffing while Rose smacked his arm.

"Could you be any insensitive? You're just like dad." Rose said, crossing her arms.

"Your dad or mine?" James asked even though it was obvious.

"My dad! Mum, Uncle Harry and Aunt Ginny always say how he's got the emotional range of a tea spoon!" Rose answered, rolling her eyes like it was the most obvious thing in the world while Ron huffed and everyone laughed at the arguement.

28 March 2008 (aka 6 months later);

"Please dad!" The 2-year-old Albus exclaimed, wanting to go behind his obvious favourite parent.

"No Al, otherwise mummy will be sad." Harry tried reasoning when Albus turned his emerald green eyes, with the smallest bit of brown in them, to his father.

"Al, it's not gonna work. Only my eyes work because they're mum's." The 4-year-old James said.

"Potters." Another healer said, because Lisa wasn't feeling too well, pointing inside.

"She's asleep, here's your daughter." The healer said, handing Lily, who was wide awake, to him.

"Hello Lily Luna." Harry said, she looked exactly like her mother.
