After ten minutes of silence and muffled breathing, the blue haired girl uncovered her mouth and spoke

"I think it´s safe to breathe again."

Everyone removed their shirts, scarves or jackets from their faces and took a deep breath.

"W-What the actual fuck just happened?!" The blonde girl asked, her voice a bit shaky. It probably came from the shock.

The blue haired one sighed and ran one shaky hand through her already messy hair. "I can explain, I- I think, but we probably should introduce ourselves first. I´m Mickey."

"Skylar" The blonde girl gave everyone a small smile.

"Chris"  Chris said, nervously fiddling with the collar of his leather jacket.

"I´m Dan" the green haired guy said. That was a rather usual name for  a pretty unusual guy.

"Gwendolyn Robinson" The red haired bouncing ball said and waved. The fact that about fifteen people could be dead now, didn´t seem to bother her.

"Billie and Joe!" The dark haired boys said at the same time. They really were twins. Great, now Chris was stuck with a bunch of 'bad kids´, as his father would have called them. He sighed.

"Okay..." Mickey started talking again. "As far as I know, this dust contains several chemicals, which are either used for anesthesia or are extremely poisonous. This dust, once inhaled, makes you a... zombie."

Silence.

One of the twins spoke up: "Stop talking shit, there´s no such thing as zombies!"

Mickey sighed. "There is, obviously. Listen to me, this dust has to be mixed and blown into the atmosphere by a special machine. Seems like we are the only ones left to turn off that machine and to fill it with the antidote for this dust or humankind is, well, fucked."

Everyone remained silence after Mickey had stopped talking. After a while, Dan spoke up.

"I believe you. I say that we go and turn that machine off. Where is it?" He said, getting up.

Mickey raised one hand to stop it and opened her mouth to say something, but Chris interrupted her:

"How comes that no zombie has attacked us yet? I mean, the people in the other room clearly inhaled that shit." He mentioned over to the half closed half opened door.

"The dust numbs every person who gets poisoned by it for about... ten days maybe?" Mickey said with a little shrug.

"Oh, okay" Chris nodded.

"What do we do now?" Skylar piped up. She seemed nervous.

"We kill all of them, duh."  Gwendolyn said and threw her strawberry red hair over one shoulder.

"Gwendolyn, no!" Dan said. "As fun as it sounds, but we need a plan."

"He´s right." Mickey said. "A plan."

About an hour and a half later, everyone was standing outside the bunker, ready for 'the plan´.

"Okay!" Dan said. He pretty much was the leader of this now, with Mickey at his side (the only reason why she was allowed to say anything was because she knew some things about the dust and he didn´t).

"Gwendolyn and Skylar, you get the clothes. You got everyone´s sizes?" Skylar nodded enthusiastically and Gwendolyn muttered something like 'I´m to punk rock for this´. Dan ignored her.
