🎮Chapter 3👑

Sonia POV:

After we arrived, we all quickly ran to the front desk. "Hello there, how can I help you?" the receptionist asked us. "Yes hello. Where is Chiaki Nanami's room?" I said. "Let me check." She takes a quick glance at her computer. "Alright, Ms. Chiaki Nanami's room is 4A, fourth floor." The lady said. I nod and we all head to the elevator. We reach the fourth floor, and we all walked to her room.

Chiaki POV:

I open my eyes and turn to see, Ibuki next to me? I was concerned so I quickly asked Ibuki, "Hey Ibuki, where am I?" "Oh Chiaki, you're awake! Well, we are at the hospital. Ibuki is not going to get too much into the topic, but the girls should be coming," She told me.

Wait, why am I in the hospital? Is this a dream? Am I hallucinating? Did I shift? "Chiaki, are you alright?" Ibuki asks. "Y-yeah. I must've got lost in thoughts." I say, shaking my head a little. "Well then, I'll call Sonia now." She says.

Ibuki POV:

I reach into my purse, get my phone, and dial Sonia's number.

Phone call:

('I' stands for Ibuki, 'S' stands for Sonia)

I: Hey Sonia, where are you?

S: I'm coming to the room with the girls. I'll be there in a sec.

I: Oh Ibuki sees you! Over here *waves*

S: Oh I see you. I'm coming.

I: ok *hangs up*

Sonia POV

I see Ibuki and I quickly run to the room. "Hey Ibuki!" I greeted Ibuki. "Why Hellooooo Sonia!" Ibuki greeted back. "S-Sonia..?" Chiaki weakly whispered my name. "Chiaki! Are you alright?" I say in worry. "I-is that...you?" She said like she forgot who I am. "Yes Chiaki, its me." I said. I held her hand tightly to reassure that I'm here. She blushes a little, but then lets go. I kneel down so Chiaki can see me better. "Are you ok?" I ask her. "I-I guess I'm ok." She replies. "Sooooo, are yall just gonna make us watch y'all act like that?" Akane asks with a sassy tone. "Akane, please. If you don't want to watch this, leave the room." Mahiru confronts Akane. "Actually, nah. Mah bestie with a love life is interesting" Akane says. She giggles after. "Akane, we are just friends." I say. As soon as I finish my sentence, Chiaki starts coughing and gasping for air. Luckily, a doctor was near so he quickly ran to the room. He signaled us all to get out for a moment while he checks on Chiaki. We all headed out of the room.

Chiaki POV

'I can't breathe. I can't hear. My body feels faint. Sonia is right, we will only be friends.' I thought as the doctor checked on me. "Ma'am how are you feeling. Does it still hurt?" He asks. "dOes iT sTiLl hUrt?? OF COURSE IT HURTS. MY CRUSH SAID WE'RE JUST FRIENDS. I MIGHT DIE!" I whispered-screamed at the doctor. "Ma'am, please calm down. So as you may know, you have Hanahaki. Well you are now in stage 2 Hanahaki." He tells me. "What does that mean?" I ask with worry. "Well, when you get the Hanahaki, there are 5 stages. Stage 1 is when you just cough up petals, no blood. You will not see any changes in your face." He says before I cut him off. "What does my apperance have to do with anything?" "I'm getting there. Anyways, stage 2 is when you start coughing up petals with blood, and at least 1 whole flower. During this stage, flower roots start to develop. Stage 3 is when you cough up less petals and more whole flowers. During this stage, you will have a few flower buds on your face. Stage 4 is when the flowers start blooming. And finally, stage 5 is when you have flowers all over, and eventually suffocate. We are trying our best not to get you to stage 5." The doctor finishes explaining. 'oh so thats why i have unusual lines in my neck.' I though. "Oh, well thanks for informing me. Can my visitors come back?" I ask. The doctor nods and calls the girls. 

The girls go inside and as they go inside, I feel my eyelids drifting. A few minutes later, I'm asleep.

Sonia POV

After I was granted permission to go back in the room, Chiaki started to fall asleep 'She looks so pretty when she sleeps' I thought. "Hey sooo its getting late, do we go or?" Akane asks. "You guys can go. I'll be staying with Chiaki." I respond. Akane nods and heads out. I sit down on the chair and try to get some sleep.

Akane POV:

Man, today was a weird day. Well, now that that's out of the way, the girls and I head to the elevator. The elevator arrives and we go to the lobby. We all go outside and just stand there. I decide to be useful and call my boyfriend, Nekomaru.

Phone Call:
("N" stands for Nekomaru, and "A" stands for Akane)

A: hey babe!

N: Akane darling! What's up?

A: listen, i need you to do me a favor

N: what happened?

A: I need you to pick me and the girls up from the local hospital.

N: Sure! I'll be right there.

A: thanks babe! love you!

N: Love you too. Want me to bring snacks?

A: u h i t h i n k y o u k n o w t h e a n s w e r

N: ok ill bring some. See you there!

A: ok, bye!

N: bye! *hangs up*

~Timeskip to when Nekomaru arrived~

Nekomaru arrived and we all got into the car. I quickly grabbed the snacks Nekomaru brought and ate them in 3 seconds. Nekomaru starts the car and we all head to Hope's Peak.
