Where it all started (1)

Autumn's POV:

I walked down the steps at the school entrance looking down thinking about how boring life is when you're like me and you barely have any friends. When I reached the gate I felt a slight bump on my head as I accidentally walked into a warm, muscular figure. "Oh s-sorry I wasn't paying attention to where I was going." I apologizes not looking up from the stone hard pavement in embarrassment. Just as I was about to walk away avoiding any further human contact the figure softly replied. "No worries. By the way I'm Luke what about you?" He kindly held out his hand in hope that I would shake it, which I obviously did, and I replied with a hesitant. "O-oh I'm S-Sage."

When Luke had left to go home I felt like I was going to throw up I mean no one has ever really wanted to talk to me. I never really new why but I always guesses that it was because I'm always so quite and I gist didn't seem trust worthy or some crap like that. I've always been bad at making friendsand I've only ever had one friend in my whole life. 'You just had to leave when I needed you most didn't you. I miss you so much...'  My train of thought had stop when a strong gust of wind blew into my face and heavy drops of water began falling from the cloudy sky. "Just great. The one day I forget my umbrella." I muttered angrily and joged off down the road rush to get home.

At Luke's house (no ones POV):

"Mom dad I'm home!" He yelled taking off his shoes and coat. "Oh hello hun good your home me and your dad need to go off to work so we might be back quite late. Dinner's on the table bye bye!" She kissed him on the forehead rushing Luke's dad out the house. "Bye!" He answered shutting the door and heading to the dining room.

After he finishes his food and cleaned up he went to his room. "Ugggghhhh soooo boooorrreedd!!" After a while he decided to take a walk outside because he had nothing better to do.

At the park (Luke's POV):

I was just walking down the path when I saw Sage sleeping under a pretty cherry blossom tree completely covered in cherry blossoms. I thought that it would be best to wake her up because it was get a bit late and I didn't want her to spend the night in the park. As I walked up to her I saw a creepy black silhouette hiding behind some of the other higher trees but I just shrugged it off and kneeles down to Sage's level. "Hey Sage wake up its getting late you need to get home." He gently whispered carefully placing a hand on her shoulder. "Huh oh Luke hey. What are you doing here? And what time is it?" She asked slowly opening her eyes. Luke looked down at his phone to check the time. "Umm it's 8:30pm god it really is quite late. Here let me walk you home." He kindly requested helping Sage up from the ground. "Oh umm sure. Thanks Luke." She got up and shook off the dirt from her black leggings.

"Hey Luke I just want to ask." She began with a small shaking in her breath. "Hmm?"
"W-why are you being so kind to me? I mean so many people think I'm this creep who sits at the back of the class. Or that I'm the weirdo who never talks to anyone and sits alone at lunch. And that I have no friend. I mean I don't even get bullied for my weirdness so why? Why are you being so nice to the school reject?" She asked with a few tears escaping her dark eyes as she stopped in her tracks. "Look Sage all of really want from you is for you to be my friend and besides I don't care what others think of you. I mean you seem like a kind person who just isn't good at communicating with others. So do you what to be my friend?" He asked hold out his hand like when they first met. Sage's eyes began to water with happens as she jumped up and gave Luke a huge hug.
"T-thank you so much for everything." -She pulled away from the hug- "you know you're the second friend I've ever had." She seemed ashamed as she looked away from the slightly shocked face in front of her. "So you do have other friends don't you." He said hopefully bit his smile quickly faded back into a sad frown. "Well I used to."
"Did you two fall out or something?" He asked. "No me and him were unseperable but something happened so now he isn't here anymore." Sage looked like she was about to cry when she mentioned her friend.

Le time skip (3 days)

"Hey Sage sup! I finally got away from that creepy girl who kept following me last night. I actually think she stayed close to my place all night!" Luke caught up with me while we were heading to school. "Looks like someone has an admirer." I joked
"Stop it ain't funny!" He yelled pushing me into a girl I haven't seen around before. "Oh I'm sorry here let me help you up." She said holding out her hand. "Oh it's fine." The girl pulled herself up with my arm. "Just my IDIOT friend here got mad at me for make a stupid joke." I pointed out glaring at Luke with a raging look in her eyes. "Like I said it's fine I'm Alice, I hope we can all be friends." She said with a welcoming smile on her face as she swappes her  gase from me to Luke with an unnoticeable blush appear on her naturally rosey cheeks.
