The morning sun rose up from the hills of HanBar Island and one by one, nearly every Hanna-Barbera character had awakened from their beds and began their normal but wacky mornings and over at the Banana Pad, the home of the Banana Splits, the Banana Splits have also began their morning too.
"Hey, Fleegle! Will you please check the mail?" Drooper called from inside the Banana Pad.
"I'm on it," said Fleegle and he went outside, shut the door and walked over to the mailbox. Once he opened it, letters came flying up into his face, making him yelp and fall down as the mail scattered across the ground around him.
"Now who could that be?" Fleegle said to himself as he went back over to the door and once he made it, he started to open the door, only for a golden envelope to slide under the door.
"What the..?" Fleegle asked himself as he closed the door, picked up the envelope and stared at the golden envelope in confusion, "I wonder who sent this golden envelope?"
"Hey Fleegle, what you've got there?" said a voice from behind Fleegle.
"Gah!" yelped Fleegle startled and he turned to see Drooper standing behind him, "Drooper, don't startle me like that."
"Sorry, force of habit," said Drooper.
"Anyway, look at this," said Fleegle as he showed Drooper the golden envelope and Drooper took hold of it and looked at it.
"What is it?" asked Drooper.
"No idea, that's why I gave it to you," said Fleegle.
"It's looks like a golden envelope," said Drooper.
"Yes, but what's inside?" Fleegle asked.
"Let's open it and find out," said Drooper and Fleegle nodded at this. Drooper began to open the envelope and from underneath it came a flash of gold.
"Yipes, what's that?!" Fleegle asked.
"I don't know," said Drooper as he put his paw inside the envelope and pulled out what looked liked a folded up piece of golden paper.
"Mmm... nice color," said Fleegle.
"Never mind that, Fleeg," said Drooper, "What do you suppose this piece of folded up golden paper is?"
"Mmmm... let me check this out," said Fleegle and Drooper gave Fleegle the folded up piece of golden paper.
"Mmm...," said Fleegle as he examined the golden paper, "There's something written in here."
"There is?" asked Drooper.
"Yes, the other side of the card...," said Fleegle and he turned the card over to have a look and on the other side of the card what looked like a golden ticket, "Hey, it's a ticket of sorts."
"A Ticket?" Drooper asked in confusion.
"Did any of you buy tickets for a concert, movie or whatever?" Fleegle asked Drooper.
"No I didn't," said Drooper shaking his head, "Neither did Bingo or Snorky."
"...That's weird," said Fleegle.
"Who do you suppose sent us this golden ticket, Fleegle?" Drooper asked.
"Some prankster?" said Fleegle.
"I see some writing on the ticket," said Drooper as he looked at the golden ticket, "It looks like a message."
"Okay, can you read it?" Fleegle asked Drooper.
"I think I can," said Drooper.
"Okay, read it, please," said Fleegle.
"Okay," said Drooper and he took the golden ticket from Fleegle and began to read it.
"Dear Banana Splits, please come to Munich before the first of October, we're looking forward to seeing you, signed WW."
"...WW? Wonder Woman?" said Fleegle.
"I don't think so, Fleegle," said Drooper shaking his head, "She is American and this golden ticket is from Munich and Munich is in Germany, so that means someone in Munich must have sent us this golden ticket."
"Mmm... who do we know from Munich?" asked Fleegle.
"I don't know," said Drooper with a shrug.
"Anyway, what date is it today, Drooper?" Fleegle asked Drooper.
Drooper walked over to the calendar that was on September and he took a look at it.
"It's the 18th of September today, Fleegle," said Drooper.
"Okay, we have time," said Fleegle.
"For what?" asked Drooper.
"To find plane tickets," said Fleegle.
"Does it mean all four of us are going to Munich in Germany?" asked Drooper.
"I guess so," said Fleegle.
"Should I go tell Bingo and Snorky?" asked Drooper.
"Yes, of course," said Fleegle.
Drooper turned and walked towards the stairs that led to the floor their bedrooms were located but then he stop and he turned his head back to Fleegle.
"What should I tell them?" he asked Fleegle.
"The truth," said Fleegle.
"That we are going to Munich in Germany because of a Golden ticket?" asked Drooper.
"Yep, exactly that," said Fleegle with a nod.
"Who in the world, would send us a Golden Ticket?" Fleegle asked himself.
