Tommy flinched as Dream yells at him for the 4th time today. He can feel the tears well in his eyes for the first time since Wilbur died and Techno left.
"I'm sorry! Please just stop yelling!" He sobs as he falls.
Dream's eyes widen when he realizes that Tommy's shaking and sobbing. 'Did I finally break him?' He asks himself. Dream reaches out his hand slowly and Tommy recoils still sobbing out apologizes bracing to be hit.
"Tommy?" Dream asks slightly concerned although not showing it in his voice. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry." Tommy kept stuttering apologies forgetting that an admin isn't allowed to cause physical harm on any of the players let alone a minor.
"Tommy I'm not going to hurt you," Dream says slowly trying not to sound concerned.
Tommy looks up still crying wondering as to why he hadn't hurt him yet.
"Aren't you gonna punish me like Wil did?" Tommy asked after staring at him for a good 2 minutes. "What do you mean 'punish'? Tommy," he asks after a moment letting the words sink in.
"Wil says that bad kids need to be punished when they disobey." Tommy tells him firmly almost as if telling himself that to. "What would you be punished for!" Dream asks leaving no room for lying or changing the topic.
Tommy shifts as he realizes that he's probably gonna be punished for not telling Dream sooner. "Whenever Wilbur thought that I needed to be punished." He told the man in green softly not wanting to be punished more then he was already going to be.
"How often was that?" The man in green pushes.
"Almost 2 times a week," Tommy mumbles hoping he wouldn't be even more mad.
He pulls out a com and says something into it. Then turns to Tommy and grabs his wrist. Tommy doesn't struggle knowing it'll be worse if he does. When they get to the White House in L'manburg. Dream tells him to sit and he does. He wrings his hands together when Dream leaves the room praying to Irene that he isn't mad enough to break a bone or leave scars.
He walks back in Tubbo following looking confused until he sees Tommy.
'He's mad he's gonna punish me to.' Was the only thing that passed through his mind as he sunk further into his seat dreading what was to come.
"Tommy? Dream what is he doing here?" Tubbo asks staring at what used to be his best friend.
"Tommy tell Tubbo what you told me." Dream tells him softly as he finally lets the concern seeping into his voice.
After telling Tubbo what he told Dream
"..." Tubbo stays silent as it dawns on him why he was always bruised and sensitive to yelling while Schlatt was president.
