I want to watch you,
Expose and drill through
Inject the poison, I have lost all control

The male put his hands up in a surrender motion, taking a step back to give the shorter girl space. "It's just me. Im Hitoshi Shinso, from your class." Spring continued to stare at the boy, waiting for him to explain what he wanted.
Shinso sighed, using a hand to rub the back of his neck as he cleared his throat awkwardly. "Anyways, I just..I just wanted to talk I guess. We uh, we have similar quirks so.." he trailed off, his cheeks slowly growing red. Spring stared at the boy, taking in his appearance from his untamed purple hair to his tired eye-bags that almost matched her own. "I'm Spring Lockser, but you probably knew that already." She gave an awkward laugh, looking to the ground. "But I mean yeah..I haven't really talked to anyone yet so..." She fiddle with her bags straps as Shinso let out a low chuckle, finding the girls shy actions cute. "Here," He held out his hand, taking a step closer to the girl "Let me see your phone." Spring tilted her head in confusion, but gave him the small device anyways. She watched as the male took her phone and started to type. "Now you have my number." He smiled, handing back her phone. Spring looked down, her cheeks growing red. This was the first time anyone had ever given her their number, and the fact that it was a boy made the girls cheeks flush even more. She looked back up to see Shinso smiling and then turning right, slowly walking down the sidewalk while giving a backwards wave. "Text me when you get home." Spring nodded, though she quickly stopped when she realized he wasn't looking at her. Turning the opposite way to make her own way home, she couldn't help but let out a small smile. She had possibly made her first friend.Spring hated what she was to call home.
It's not that her mother was abusive, but sometimes Spring couldn't help but wish that she was. At least then her mother would see her, that her mother would acknowledge her existence. Spring was willing to do almost anything, if it meant for the woman she was to call her mother, to look at her and tell her that she loved her. To ask her how her day was or if she had made any friends. She wanted her mother to make her favorite foods on bad days and to give her hugs. To go shopping and to bake cookies together. She wanted someone to love her.
But Spring could also understand why the older woman could barely look at her. She understood, and the girl knew she should be thankful. Sitting on her bed, she sighed as she looked around the rather blank room. Spring was thankful for all she had. She had a bed to sleep in, walls and a roof over her head, food if she was to get hungry and she had clothes on her back.
But even so, the girl couldn't help but wish for something more. To:
