Mei's POV

Ang saya talaga maging driver tong tomboy na to yung 40 minutes na time travel from Arlington University to our house became 20 minutes. It’s really a trip to heaven or should I say hell?! Well kahit anong trip pa yan I enjoy it naman.

“Siguro kung lahat katulad mo magdrive walang malelate kahit traffic!” I said while removing my seatbelt and looking at her. Di niya pa rin tinatanggal yung seatbelt niya at sinandal lang yung ulo sa headboard.

“Sila lang naman WEAK. Lalo yung ibang mga lalaki puro yabang. Kalalaking tao mga duwag kapag nakikipagkarera ako.” She said it in a normal tone while her eyes close. Ok, Ampalaya mode is on. 

She’s a racer. Oh let me correct a SEXY HOT RACER. Mayabang nga lang pero may ipagyayabang naman. Minsan sumasama ako sa kanya para tumambay? Nah, of course to find my new player.  Ang dameng boys na gag* dun kaya masaya ding maghanap ng kalaro aside sa mga bars. But you know what I really love to do?  Setting up my cousin with other guys. Natutuwa ako siya naman naiinis kaya minsan niya na lang ako isama.  Madalas tumatakas na siya at iniiwan na ko. Pinagkakagaluhan kasi ng lalaki pero ang ginagawa niya sinasapak niya o kaya tinatakot. Kaya never pa yang nagkaboyfriend but she has a boy crush. I told you she’s just using her TOMBOY LOOK as defense mechanism to those annoying boys and be closer to her crush.

“Natural tatanggihan ka they don’t want to race with you because they want you in BED. HAHAHAHA”  And I immediately left her inside the car. Mahirap na baka mamaya kung ano pang maisipang gawin niyan pikon pa naman.

When I enter our house I saw Mom in the living room giggling with my stepfather. Katatanda na nakukuha pang magharutan. But seeing my Mom like that after all the incident she went through gives a smile on my face. I’m glad that she wakes up from her nightmare and uses her mind not heart. Finally, she move on and find her own happiness.

Girls should not stick to those fucking guy who will just use you for their own benefits, hurt you, makes you cry all night and dump you when they find new that will satisfied what they need. Girls should prove that what the boys do, we can beat twice or thrice. Hindi dapat tayo nagpapagamit sila DAPAT ang gagamitin naten. If they are worse then, we are the worst.

“HEY! Ugly couples who do nothing but to flirt all day. WE’RE HERE!” Di man lang napansin na nasa likod na nila ako. Busy sa lampungan moment nila. Papbb teens lang ang dalawang to.

“Yeah. Hello Georgeous Mei and Handsome MaJe.” Sabay high five sa taong nasa likod ko na si Maria Jennaira. Ganyan batian nila ni Dadei short for Daniel Deiwin. Malala rin to kinukunsinte ang pagiging boyish nito ni MaJe.

I don’t want to call her dad or tito. Dadei is enough besides he’s not my relative and he is also the one who said to call him that name but I respect him a lot. He treated me and MaJe as his own children. He provides what we need and what we want. He can make impossible things to possible beacuse he is powerful. An most of all, he truly loves Mom so much. I can tell Mom makes the right and intelligent choice.

Agad tumayo si Mommy and give us a kiss on our cheeks. Good to know that they’re not having their own child. I’m selfish ayoko ng may kahati. Ok na saken si Maria Jennaira she’s like a sister to me when her mom passed away. Binata din si Dadei kaya wala siyang anak or asawa. Sadyang malakas lang din charisma ni Mom kaya napa-ibig tong si Dadei.

“Sorry Girls, eto kasing si Dan masyadong maharot sabi ko mamaya na ang kulit eh buti hindi natuloy kundi nakakita pa kayo ng liveshow.” Sabi ni Carolina Deiwin tapos tumawa pa silang magcouple. Minsan naiisip ko kung kailangan ko na sila ipadala sa mental para maagapan yung kabaliwan nila sa isa’tisa. Hindi din ba sila nagsasawa sa mukha nila at gawin yun? Baka gabi-gabi nagpaparaos sila. Drugs ba yun na dapat kaadikan? Iniisip ko pa lang kinikilabutan na ko. Hindi kaya sila maubusan ng likido? For almost 10 years di ba sila nagsasawa? Mga mahilig!
