The car came slower than you would've thought. In fact, everything, including you, went nearly completely still as the car inched closer to you. No way to dodge the car, no one close enough to save you, no escape from the painful fate right next to you.
As the lights came close enough to blind you and shove you down, the ground emptied underneath you and your skin became boiling. As you fell the heat rose steadily, your skin itched and tightened over your boiling blood, the fall getting faster and faster before suddenly ending with a harsh landing on your head. The heat stayed, not leaving as long as you were still conscious.... how were you still conscious? The truck hit you fast and harsh enough for you to feel the bumper and license plate engraved into your side, and yet you could still look around and breathe just fine. Moving? Give yourself a moment, you're still in massive pain after all.
You soon sit up to where you can look around, you lay in a shallow crater on your side, supported by your lower arm. The world was now...rather empty. There was red dirt, no weeds or plants by you, just crumbly red earth that occasionally came up in small mounds. The sky was a greyer shade of red, with a faint dark line on the horizon. The only thing that seemed somewhat different was a maroon red stone path, winding farther and farther out. What else was there to do but slowly raise to your feet, dusting off the dust, cracking some bones, and follow it?As you walk you slowly realize new features. Your skin was now dark red and rough, any hair on your arms was now white and so was the hair on your head, and to top it off a small, skinny tail with a point at the head was now sticking out behind you. You couldn't take in as much without a mirror, but you get the gist.
Something slowly began rising on the horizon...Something that looked like a bronze arch, and as you got closer you could tell how broken and beaten up it was. A gate at the very end of the road!...At the very end of the road. It stopped right in front of the old gate, nothing behind it except empty space. You go to touch it before someone suddenly grabbed your tail and pulled you back with as much strength as that damn truck. You fall flat on your butt, able to keep your upper body up with your palms. You look up at what pulled you back, a tall man(v e r y t a l l) stood ahead of you, a suit jacket and tie on with a large battle-ax over his shoulder. His grey skin grey darker on his neck and hands, and was covered up by dark, dark brown fur at his waist that lead down to goat legs and hooves. His horns stuck out of black hair and curved around his fluffy goat ears. Your eyes soon locked with his, so dark they were nearly black, as he spoke with a deep and gruff voice and a smirk "Welcome Doll, you're gonna have one hell of a time here."
