After taking a photo shoot, I returned to my house to rest. The shooting lasts for approximately three hours. It was very tiring. Actually, what makes me tired is not when I have to pose. What made me tired was having to change clothes five times with materials that were so hot that I felt uncomfortable.

Are you hungry?" I asked Meredith, my favorite cat.

Meredith and I are watching television. Meredith was on my lap, leaning back with her indulgence. She meows small and usually, if she meows small like this, she's not hungry. But, she wanted to play.

"I'm not in the mood to play, Mer. I'm focused on this television show. If you want to play, you can play with Austin. Apparently, he needs a friend."

As if she understood what I said, Meredith immediately got up from my lap and walked out of the room. Meredith knew more about this house than I did. She's indeed a cat that is quite proud of me. At least, she was the only friend who was always by my side when I needed someone to vent my feelings. Most of my friends - humans - are busy people. They are very busy and rarely have time for me. Only Meredith is always there for me. It was only Meredith.

"Taylor, are you busy?" I turned around when I heard the voice to find Dad who was near a glass cabinet where I kept the awards I had received.

I got up and faced Dad as I turned off the television. "What's the matter, Dad?" I asked.

Dad walked over and sat on the sofa I was previously sitting on. I sat back down facing Dad.

"Just wanted to ask about your future, Tay." Dad suddenly said.

I squinted my eyes. "The future? What do you mean? Didn't I often save for my future? For the future of my children-,"

"That's the problem, Taylor. For the future of your children. How can you have children if you can't find someone who is the one perfect for you? You're old enough to get married. Have you lost interest in having a relationship with someone?", I sighed at what Dad said.

So, in short, he wants me to find a partner quickly so I can give grandchildren for him? Is that so? Yes, maybe that was the reason.

"It's not like that, Dad. I just haven't found the right person for me. If I find that person, I'll definitely introduce him to you right away. Besides, I realized I'm not getting any younger anymore. I'm twenty-two years old, almost twenty-three. I need some time to find the right guy, Dad." I leaned my head on Dad's shoulder. It feels comfortable.

"I'm not forcing you to get married right away, Taylor. It's just that I don't like seeing you alone like this. I prefer to see a man by your side. That way, I don't have to worry about you because there is a man who will definitely take care of you well."

Dad moved his hand and gently stroked my hair. I'm speechless. I could feel Dad starting to inhale and exhale slowly before saying, "I'd like to introduce you to my old friend's son, Tay. You don't have to get in touch with him right away, but you can get to know him slowly first."

I lifted my head off Dad's shoulder and looked at him with a look of surprise. "W-what ?!"

"You just have to get to know him, Taylor. If you already know him, you can choose. To be in a relationship with him or not."

"You already matched me with your old friend's son ?!"

"I will not call this matchmaking. I invited my old friend to have dinner here. He said he would come with his wife and child. So, you can get acquainted with his son." Dad seemed very relaxed about his plan while I still can't put this stupid plan into words.

"You're just going to make acquaintances, Harry. No matchmaking and the like. Besides, if you guys are matched, wouldn't that be great?" The middle-aged man spoke to his son who seemed to have an annoyed face, and his son did not accept it at all.

"Rob, I have lots of girls out there. If you want, I can introduce them one by one to you. You don't have to set me up with your old friend's daughter." Harry said in a quite high voice. The curly-haired young man was talking on the hotel balcony with Robin — his stepfather.

Robin rolled his eyes at the words of his stepson. "Harry, come on, don't play with a woman's heart. You haven't experienced the so called karma, have you? It hurts a lot more." Robin warned Harry.

Harry chuckled. "I've never played a woman's heart, Rob. They're the ones who have too much hope for me."

"You're old enough to stop giving them false hopes, Harry. You've got to find someone you can have a serious relationship with."

"I'm not in the mood yet, Rob. I'm too young to commit. I'm still having fun. If you want to introduce me to your friend's daughter, go ahead. But don't blame me when the future comes, she'll just get her heart broken around me. " There was a menacing tone in Harry's words.

Robin sighed. "It's up to you, Harry. I warned you."

Silence swept over Harry and Robin until Harry's cell phone rang. Harry immediately picked up the call, near Robin. Letting Robin hear the word for word that Harry said on the phone.

"Yes, Kendall. I almost forgot to eat if you didn't call and remind me. Thank you so much, honey."

Harry glanced a little at Robin who looked indifferent before returning to speak to the girl named Kendall who called him.

"We'll meet tomorrow afternoon at the restaurant where we first met. I'll prepare something special for you, just for you." Harry paused, hearing Kendall's words from far away.

"Very well. See you tomorrow, babe. Good night and sweet dreams."

Harry ended the call while smiling broadly at Robin, who this time glared at him.
