Misunderstanding (Muichiro x Fem! Reader)

Y/n L/n the water pillars Tsuguko, everyone loved her except one person. Muichiro Tokito... the ex lover of Y/n. Giyuu of course knew about the relationship between them.

He is the one who saved Y/n when she was a young child, luckily her family survived. Y/n begged Giyuu to train her so she could be the one to protect her family and others which took a while to convince Giyuu. Eventually he agreed...Giyuu trained her to become a demon slayer... a professional one you could say. She managed to learn water breathing and total concentration breathing in such a short timing. ( did i say that right oh well? )

Throughout the training Giyuu would give Y/n breaks. And during those breaks Y/n would go to a hill and just watch the sky. That's where she met Muichiro and they began to get closer and closer soon they got into a relationships

The reason why they broke apart was because Muichiro was sick and tired of Y/n being upset. Her negative energy became just like Giyuu's. He hated it, he was over it. When they were hanging out watching the sky he let it out.

"You know what Y/n i'm sick of it! You're always so down and it's annoying! Just because your sad does not mean you have to spread it to others! Your annoying blank face is just making me angry! Get out of my sight." was all Muichiro said.

It was out of no where and out of character for Muichiro. Y/n had tears falling down her face and she ran back to the water estate. Of course Muichiro was feeling guilty he said those horrible things out of no where. Every once in a while when Muichiro would be walking around he would pass by the water estate and see Giyuu training Y/n. And Giyuu would be glaring at Muichiro.

Y/n wouldn't notice because she was busy trying to improve her skills and following Giyuu's directions.
"I did it! Did you see Giyuu-san!! I did it!" Y/n yelled happily as she learned how to use the tenth form constant flux. Giyuu had a small smile on it's been a while since she smiled ever since her family died right in front of her.

Y/n was training at the water estate with Giyuu away from home and when she arrived home smiling preparing to tell her family what she learned. But when she entered the home her family members body was all around the house half eaten. Y/n just froze... if she was home she would have saved her family. Y/n didnt even know what to feel so many things were hitting her at once. Her half eaten mother's face was staring at her. Y/n screamed at the sight tears running through her face.

All she did was run. She ran back to the Water estate tears coming out her eyes. Y/n opened the door of the water estate running to Giyuu who was inside the estate with Shinobu. You could tell Giyuu was ignoring her but as soon as Y/n stepped in crying he got up. Shinobu even looked shocked the always smiling girl Y/n L/n was crying.

Giyuu and Shinobu rushed towards Y/n and immediately asked what's wrong. All Y/n did was cry into Giyuu's arms. "M-my family is dead!! A demon killed them when i wasn't there!" Y/n yelled into his chest.

Shinobu's eyes widened and so did Giyuu's. They both looked at each other and had a frown. Giyuu hugged Y/n back attempting to comfort her. Shinobu crotchet down and hugged Y/n as well.

They knew how you were feeling... the guilt stuck in the young child for not being home and saving there family.

Yet Muichiro never knew the whole story of why Y/n was acting like that. He was to busy being angry at why she was always so... blank. So when they were assigned a mission together he froze. He hasn't faced Y/n at all since his sudden outburst. He shouldn't care, it was her fault for being so negative towards every little thing. Who wouldn't be sick of it? he thought.

But once the Water pillar heard about the mission he did not want to send her. She finally smiled after weeks from her parents death, just seeing Muichiro would make her remember his outburst. "Y/n you know i could send someone else to go onto the mission. I could send Tanjiro or that weird boar mask guy that loves to fight?" Giyuu said looking down at Y/n. Y/n just gave a small smile while cleaning her sword "Than how will i get stronger Giyuu-san! I want to be as strong as you!" Y/n said while putting her sword in her scabbard.
