Entity displeased

POV: Jake Park

It took us a while to bring all the killers to the campfire. The Oni is the last one left. But we are now ready to fight. We'll have to wait until everyone is here, because there are still games. They are all against the Oni. Rin said that he is really stubborn when it comes to defending his honor. And he thinks that helping survivors is against his honor. That really is a disadvantage for us, because if he would help us we wouldn't have to still be doing matches. But unfortunatly not even Rin could change his mind. But now we have to wait for the best moment to summon the entity. We couldn't figure out how to get it to come to us. When I asked Michael how the murdered killer did it he said that he just said that he hates this place and that he insulted the entity. After he insulted it, it came and stabbed him with its claws. That's what all the killers said. But I wasn't sure if I could believe it. I mean, the entity didn't seem like it gets provocated this easily. But I haven't seen it completly. I've just saw its claws but the others say that its shape was human-like. Is it a demon? Or is it a ghost? No it can't be a ghost. It was bleeding. I was thinking about what that thing is when Michael nugded me. "Hey, Jake, are you okay?" "Huh? Uh, yeah of course." He looked at me and I could feel that he wasn't believing me. "What is it? You can talk to me, you know that, right?" I nodded and looked at the ground. "Y-yeah I know that. And I'm thankful for it, really. It's just that..." "That what?" "When I think about it, it all seems so surreal. I mean, nothing about all this makes sense. I just don't know what to believe anymore. What if all this is just a dream? What if you and the others are all in my head?" "Jake..." "What if I'm crazy?" "Jake!" I was shooked and looked up to him. He has never screamed at me before. I suddenly felt his hands at my waist and his lips on mine. He kissed me passionate and I kissed him back. When he started to kiss me with tongue my head felt dizzy and I panted. He let go of me and gasped for air. "Did that feel like it wasn't real? I think it felt very real." "Y-yeah, it did. I'm sorry, I shouldn't be doubting that now." "No, don't apologise. It's okay, I think everyone of us thought that at some time." I nodded but I was still feeling bad. I called him an imagination. I must've hurt him. "Jake, it really is okay. Don't worry about me. I'm fine." He smiled at me softly and I tried to smile back but I was to nervous and scared of what will happen next, to be convincing. But Michael really calmed me down. Suddenly the four survivors which were in the last game came back and I couldn't believe what I saw. On Dwight's hand there was the Oni. "H-how did you-" "Hey, Jake! He said that he wants to help us. He wants to protect Rin. That means we are finally complete." I smiled and shook hands with the oni. When I remember right, his name was Kazan Yamaoka. "I'm glad you changed your mind." "I'm not here to help you. I'm just here for Rin. But I guess it's a good chance for us all to have a normal life again. And it was exhausting for me to be the only killer." "Yeah, that's fine with us. We don't have to be friends but I really appreciate that you are willing to help us. That's already enough." He nodded and then sat down beside Rin. Rin immediatly started talking to him. I think she is really happy about him being here with her. I was wondering if the entity would now come, because it can't start any matches anymore. My thought was confirmed. A sudden scratching sound echoed through the forest. And suddenly we saw claws, which were wrapped around a tree near the camp. It is here. I stood up and got myself the spear that we made out of some branches that were laying on the ground. "I am impressed. You managed to get all the killers and survivors to work together. Nobody else has ever even thought about something like this. In the last year of this game going on, everyone was just playing along." It can speak? I looked at the darkness in the forest and tried to find where the voice is coming from. "Haha, Jake. I knew you were special when I brought you here. But I thought you would be more aggressive and that you would start fights and not that you would reconcile everyone, because you were this aggressive your whole life. But you did and now you think that you could beat me and flee from here? Ohoho no, I won't ever let you go! You are my possession!" It scared me and I got chills. My hand, which were holding the spear, were shaking. Michael laid his hand on my shoulder and I looked up to him. He nodded and looked at me with his calming, dark eyes. I nodded, too and looked around at the others. They were all ready and were concentrated. I looked back at the forest and finally the entity stepped into the light. I was shooked at what it looks like. It didn't have a face, except for a mouth filled with many sharp teeth. I was smiling and the claws came out of its back. It was something between dark gray and black. And some of its features were golden. It was scarier than everything I've ever seen in my life. I couldn't move out of fear. "Not so confident now, are you? I thought you were planning on killing me? Please at least make it a little bit exciting for me. It will be boring for me, if I kill you in the first few seconds." He tried to provokate us. But I won't let him be successful with this. "We won't lose today. We are to damaged by your mad games that none of us will back down. You'll have to kill us if you want us to stop fighting." His crazy smile got even brighter when I said that. One of his claws dashed towards me but I ducked fast enough. "You have good reactions but that won't save you, little rebel." He moved all of his claws in my direction. I ducked again and dogded the claws at the ground. Michael grabbed one of the claws and smashed it on the treetrunk. I heard something crack and the entity hissed. Michael was in full protector mode. He looked really scary when he is angry but I was kinda touched that he was so protective over me. The entity wanted to attack him but the deathslinger distracted him as he fired at him. The entity caught the harpoon easily and threw him against a tree. He fell on the ground and was unconcious. It then turned back at Michael but it didn't get to attack him because it was distracted again. The trapper and the hillbilly ran up to it and attacked it with their weapons. The trapper could detach one of its claws but the hillbilly was thrown away like the deathslinger before he could use his chainsaw. I walked around it while it was fighting Evan and wanted to stab it from behind but one of its claws pushed me away. I landed in the dirt and groaned painfully. I quickly stood up and ran back to them. All of the others now tried to land a hit. They all really wanted to kill it. We were all ready to fight till death. The entity was already hurt but it was still stronger than everyone of us. But together we can do it. That's at least what I was hoping for. The deathslinger was concious again and tried to fire at a free spot, where noone of our people were. He could hit a claw and it was parted from the rest of its body. But right when we thought we had almost won and that the entity would lose to us, it threw us all away and looked at us with a murderous look. Suprisingly it was still smiling even though it was bleeding a lot. Its claw dashed towards Michael as fast as lightning. I wanted to warn him but I was to late. The claw went through his chest and he fell on the ground unconcious. I screamed and ran to him as fast as possible. I fell on my knees beside him and laid his lifeless body on my lap. "Michael! Michael wake up!" Tears streamed down my face and I ignored everything around me. I felt how something went through the side of my back and how the warm blood of mine got mixed with the colder blood of Michael. My head felt dizzy and my eyes closed. I felll on the chest of Michael and lost conciousness. The last thing I heard were the battle cries of my friends and teammates. Then I was surrounded by darkness.
