It had been about a week since you last saw Ryan, and you didn't even try to pretend that you were completely okay with it.

You needed your space. All the headaches and screaming weren't worth it anymore. And lucky for you, it was quite easy to continue a daily routine.

Harrison and Viv were left dumbfounded as he left, both turning simultaneously to see you emerging from your room, moving with slight prudence. As expected, they both had questions.

"...What happened?"

"Is he gone....for good?"

You didn't know.

But they didn't press you for answers, and you were grateful for that. Lucky for you, you had friends who would never let you down.

You spent the next week with them, when you all had the time. And it was always the best time, with them. It was as if you were all characters in a horror movie that was ending, and the demonic force that weighed you down was gone.

But yet, part of you felt bad for not justifying why you were mad. But then again, you were always trying to explain yourself.

He had always made you look like the one who was ruining your relationship and that was never true.

....Almost.

You tried to get rid of that sliver of guilt you still had for what you knew, and what he didn't. You repressed the memory as much as you could, but you were eating your own words.

Indulging too much on what...happened.

And it didn't help that Tom was around more than ever.

But you couldn't write him off completely; he was still Haz's friend. Nor did you really want to rid him from your life.

He's done so much for you and he wasn't obliged to do any of it.

So you welcomed him when he was present, coming to pick up Harrison or some other reason. Actually most of the time was for Haz, but it was interesting that he would come all the way up to the apartment and knock on the door.

Viv happened to answer it this time.

"Hi darling, is Harrison home?"

And Viv never ceased to let him in.

"Hey, Tom. And uhh, not sure, actually. You can check his room," she replied, stepping aside to let him in.

Tom wandered into the house, going straight to Harrison's room. He opened the door to find the light off, with no Haz in sight.

"If he's not there, you're welcome to stay," Viv offered, walking past him to go into the kitchen. Tom turned to look down the hall, deciding if he should make a trip down there.

But Viv seemed to have the ability to read minds.

"y/n's here, too," She mentioned. "I'm sure she'd love to see you."

And with that, Tom started walking down the hall, with Viv turning her head to watch him, smirk painted on her face.

You sat at your vanity in your room, finishing a full-face beat by applying gloss to your lips.

Knock knock!

"Yeah?" you responded.

Tom cracked open your door as you turned your head to see who was there.
