2nd Person POV
Note - (If you don't know what this means, that means the POV is with someone describing YOU. 'YOU' will be the pronoun pertaining to you, the reader)

You woke up from your sleep, alarm blaring in your ears. It was 4 AM, time to get to your usual routine. You got up and headed to the bathroom, taking a good look in the mirror at yourself. Your hair was messy, and the scar you had reminded you of your time back in Iraq. That knife you took was close, luckily you survived the encounter and killed the guy. You washed your face and fixed your hair to look a tad more presentable. You got out and took a breath before grabbing your workout clothes. You put them on, staring out the window as you do so. It was pitch black, but a star still shone from the early morning sky. You got out of your room, and it was dead quiet. No one around to be seen. Looks like it's just you and your senses, alone. You headed to the gym, and got started. Weight lifting, crunches, push-ups, jump squats; you did everything your mind could think of doing.

90 minutes pass, and you're a sweat bath. You swing your towel over your shoulder and sit down to take a breather. You hear the door swing open and spot a big guy, bald as well. You take a quick glance; he's jacked, and tall. You noticed him heading towards you, and you just looked down at the floor as you took a breather. "Hey there, mate." you heard the hulking behemoth say. You cleared your throat and began to speak. "H-Hey..." You said in an awkward tone. You notice him tilt his head at you. "You're the new guy, aren't you?" he said. "Yes, I am." you spoke. He reaches an open hand out at you. "The names Seamus, you can call me Sledge." he said. You shook his hand and introduced yourself. "Y/N, call me Kilroy." you said as you shook his hand. "Kilroy, eh? Cool name you've got." he said. "T-Thanks..." you replied. "From what unit did you come from?" he asked. "Delta. I was a former Green Beret as well." you said as you wiped your forehead from the sweat. "Delta, eh? Lemme guess, you participated in the raid that took down al-Baghdadi?" he said while crossing his arms. "Yes sir, I was there." you said. "You're one hell of a soldier, I'll tell you that." he said, patting you on the shoulder. "Thank you, means a lot. Anyways, I'll be heading back to my room. I cleaned up what needed cleaning earlier and they're free for you to use now. It was nice meeting you." you said as you picked up your gym bag. "Nice meeting you too, chap." he said. You headed out the door and back into your room and took a bath. You took the time to think as you scrubbed away. Eventually your thoughts of being single caught up to you. It's been 10 years since your last relationship, and that left you scarred emotionally. You wondered if you would ever love again; if you could; or even should. You shook the thoughts off as you got out of the shower and dried yourself. You got into your ACU and went out of the door immediately. A few of the operators that were out looked at you with curious eyes. You heard one mumble, but you didn't think much about it. You got whatever looked good and you sat down alone. Suddenly you see someone out their tray down next to you and sat beside you. You turn to meet whoever the person was. "Hey, new guy. Mind if I sit with you?" the person said. You nodded and carried on eating. "The names Jordan, others call me Thermite." he said. "Y/N, c-call me Kilroy." you muttered. "So, prior experience?" he asked as he took a bite of his eggs. "1st SFOD-D, former Green Beret." you said. "Shit, that's amazing. Respect to you, my man." he said as he closed his hand to form a fist. You smiled at his gesture and went on to talk for much longer.

Would you look at that, looks like you're making friends.

You got distracted from the talking as you saw a woman with green hair. Your mind wandered as you got captivated, her beauty mesmerised you; not to mention her skin-tight spandex pants which just accentuated her curves. Jordan noticed you staring and nudged your shoulder, getting your attention. "Staring at Ela huh?" Good news; she's single." he said as he sipped his coffee. You saw her sit down alone at a table, and your mind wandered further. You wanted to sit next to her, but you thought it would be too forward and you were shy, so you let it pass. "She's kind of an introvert, so you'll probably have to work a little harder getting close." you heard Jordan say. "No matter, mind being my wingman?" you said while laughing. "Me? Shit, I'm horrible with girls. You should talk to Valkyrie, or Meghan. She's Ela's best friend, she'll be your best shot at getting close with Ela." he said as he pointed over to a blonde woman. You nodded at him, and glanced back at Ela. Suddenly your eyes met with hers, and she broke it immediately as soon as it started.

Maybe this is it.
