"Welcome to the new World Order. Tonight we will start over. We will rise from the war and we will triumph."
"The war shall be left in the past because now, now is the start of our future. All of our memories will be erased if you choose to do so. It is up to you, but remember we can't move on with our lives if we don't forget."
"What about the children? What will..." part of the crowd started whispering and the other yelling scared of the new beginning. Everyone even Marcus and Cleopatra were still unsure of what would happen to them. Marcus and Cleo in disbelief that they made it. They were so sure they would lose.
Aaron was dead. It wasn't supposed to be this way. He was supposed to take them into the Archangel. Marcus blamed it on the attack. They weren't ready. The Archangel wasn't ready. It was too soon. Everyone was dead when they arrived. There was so much blood. It was everywhere. They tried to save everyone they could, but it looked like... it was death.
"Everyone listen! Please just listen to us and give us a chance to explain!" said Marcus.
Cleopatra was ready to run from this. She had ran from most of her problems. She wanted to lead them it was up to her. Aaron was supposed to mentor her he was supposed to tell her what to do. She would've been magnificent, but she wasn't ready.
"Cleopatra please explain."
"Michael will take over Aaron's spot. He will lead us into the future. His mind isn't ready yet so for the time being Marcus and I will be the directors. I need all the children to stand in a line by their parents. If there are any teachers that survived please separate the kids into their age groups. From now on everything will be new. We will not go back to the past. We will start from scratch and we will forget about what happened. We will be arriving onto Purgatory soon. We are still lightyears away from it, but by that time Michael will be ready. Our saviors mind shall be in its prime state to lead for the next 7 generations. By..."
Marcus interrupted Cleopatra seeing that she was starting to shake. That was the problem with the pre-gen Alpha's. They were conditioned to be the best, but with that came insecurities if they were premature. They were about 29 Marcus thought to himself. They were adults, but they had never lived a normal day. Since they were conceived they were separated and hooked onto machines in order to control them. They were all supposed to get unplugged at their 30th year. Lucifer's troops had entered the facility. The only one still plugged in was Michael.
Marcus was their doctor he had been there at all there births and he was there as they grew. He still remembered when Aaron called him dad by mistake. They never knew their families and Marcus didn't have time for his own. Marcus took the roll of being both their parents. He looked at Cleopatra. He had never in his life seen her without wires coming out of her head and chest. He wanted so much to just grab her and hold her. He knew that she was afraid. He could always tell.
"By the time Michael awakes the first Gen shall be ready. The rest of us will be pre-gens. Our job will be to help each other survive until we get to Purgatory."
The Archangel was moving through space and time. Everyone was still in shock from the previous events. They all told themselves that they would be alright until they got to Purgatory or until they died. Death they were thinking about death and what would await. Disease and war killed everyone they loved. Purgatory was supposed to purify them until they entered the gates.
