With ringing ears from the buzzer, I start walking off my shift from being the center player and start heading towards the benches, where the rest of goldstone’s team and our coach was. After talking with everyone and finalizing on who was going on next, I thought it was an appropriate
time to see what the score was. With a tie at 25:25 it wasn't our best score but not the worst either. The last time we played Coyote Creek was earlier today and we won with a close game,
so now we needed to be smarter, after all this game decide who gets first and second place. This year Chimney Hill was hosting the basketball play day and it was so different from Goldstones Gym, but the experience never gets old from playing on the team to the games, with this being
our last game of the season seems like nothing can destroy the moment.Or so I thought.
With the ball in the center of the court ready for jump ball, marking that the last round is about to
start, the next 12 minutes will become very tense.
“phwwwwwhht”
with the whistle being blown
the ball is thrown in the air. Winning would get us first place and show how hardworking we are and our improvement from last year (we got 4th place then) but losing would be like a slap to the face after you’ve accomplished something dear to you. So, the next 12 minutes are going to be filled with fear and excitement for what's to come.Comment and vote.
Also please do not copy any if my work, because it took me a very long time to do this and get the concept of the story right.
