𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐰 ~ 𝐃𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐨 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐟𝐨𝐲

𝟓𝟎𝟓 -𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐲𝐬

"vicky,vicky! wake up!!" Hermione said as she was trying to wake her friend

"huh- oh yea I'm up, I'm up!" said Victoria as she was waking up

"good because we're here"

As Hermione said that Victoria opened her eyes to the beautiful Hogwarts, she always thought Hogwarts was classy and beautiful, since the first time she was there and now the last time she would see the beautiful castle.

"okay well hurry up because everyone is out already, come one lets go"

"yea yea okay, coming!"

The ride to the castle was pretty much the same as the other years, so she was used to it, she was just listening to her friends conversation about Classes or something like that ,it was pretty boring until she met those eyes, those greyish blue eyes, those tires eyes, she knew whose those eyes belonged to, Draco Malfoy, she never really talked to him, but heard all the things her friends said about him, and trust me, they weren't good.

after a minute or so they broke eye contact thanks to harry calling her

"vic? VIC"

"WHAT HARRY, WHAT IS IT"

"wow okay calm down, I was just wondering why you were staring at Malfoy"

"what? oh, no reason, I guess I just spaced out" she said nervously, honestly, shed didn't even know the reason why.

"well okay... we're here by the way"

Victoria looked up and saw the castle with its beautiful gates of Hogwarts, as her group entered, she ran into someone

"oh sorry! my bad I didn't see you there" said Victoria, she looked up to see who it was, and it was none other than Draco Malfoy

"yea well check where you're going next time" draco said as he left slightly shoving her

Now she knew what her friends meant about Malfoy's attitude.

The group sat down at the Gryffindor table like they always did, it started with the same speech but this time it was McGonagall saying it, she was talking about how happy she was to see all the 1st years and 7th years, that she was thankful for them to come back and repeat their year.

everything was going fine, McGonagall finished her speech and they were finishing the supper, that was until McGonagall said 

"all 7th year stay behind after dinner, there's something I need to tell you all"

Victoria looked at Hermione confused, she didn't know what McGonagall was talking about, maybe new classes? who knows

"what do you think she has to tell us" said harry

"probably new classes or something, don't worry about it harry, I'm sure we're going to be just fine" said ginny

After the announcement, all students left, besides 7th years, they were all waiting for what McgGonagall had to say

"Hello students, I know you probably all confused right now, but there's something I need to tell you all, before I start, I want to say that I tried to do everything I could but failed, and I am terribly sorry, well, since you all know, during the war a lot of people died, causing our population to decrease, this could cause our magical world to go extinct, so, the ministry decided to use the Marriage Law, the marriage law was used way before any of you were born, So many of you might not know what it is, Basically you're going to have to marry one of your classmates in a 6 months and conceive a child at the end of the school year or in a year, if you refuse to do this, you will be sent to Azkaban, I am terribly sorry students, tomorrow you will know who you're being paired with, the ministry chose the people who are your 'soulmates',  we will explain how everything will work tomorrow, again I am sorry and good luck, that's all you are excused now."

'Marriage law? so I will have to marry someone and have a child with them? without knowing anything about them? oh Merlin I just hope whoever I get paired up with is loving and kind' Victoria thought

Little did she know, she was going to be paired with him...
