MARIN WAS RUSHING THROUGH THE FOURTH LEVEL OF THE TOWERS.

She knows that it's really not that big of a deal, but Marin has never been on the fourth floor before today. The fourth floor is Stark Industries' main legal powerhouse, and its hallways are flooded with lawyers and accountants and just about anyone else that could relate to legal matters.

Before today, Marin wasn't even sure she was allowed on this level. She usually just stuck to the residential level, and just followed Tony around if he went to any obscure lab on other levels. But today, Marin's walking the halls of a big-shot business level.

And people are looking at her. Not like "what the hell is this kid doing here" which is what Marin would expect. But after all the press conferences and newspaper articles and magazine tabloids, Marin knew that these people recognized her. She could see it in their eyes. And the fact that everyone was nodding at her, and saying hello.

"Good morning, Ms.Stark," a receptionist said to her, right outside of Tony's office. She was the fifth person to address her like that, and Marin couldn't figure out anything to do but smile and nod back.

"Hey, uh..." Marin trailed off, glancing at the door, then jutting her thumb over at it. "Is he in there?"

The woman nodded with a smile. "Yes, he is, should I let him know you're out here?"

Well, Marin was just going to walk into the office as she had always done with every other situation, but she faltered at this. Maybe it was different here?

"Yeah, that'd be great," she said, slightly deflated. "Should I..." she looked over to the row of chairs against the wall. They looked uncomfortable.

"Please, sit," the woman encouraged her, nodding as Marin slipped into the seat.

A few minutes passed, and Marin could tell the woman felt very awkward that Tony wasn't answering her repeated calls. From what Marin was understanding, he was declining each call to the office, so she was forced to sit there, uncomfortable, for the next seven minutes as the receptionist struggled to get Tony's attention.

Just as Marin was about to text tony- he always answered her - the door swung open.

Out came a slightly flustered Tony Stark, with his disapproving expression. He started, very forwardly, "Okay, Jaime, is it? I know you're new here, but if I didn't-" Finally, Tony noticed Marin sitting in the chair. "What are you - mars? What are you doing out here?"

"I had a question for you," Marin explained, suddenly concerned that she was most certainly still not allowed on this level.

But that fear was quickly brushed away when he stared down at her like she had just lost her mind, and said, "Why are you waiting out here?"
