Beep! Beep! Beep! Luna slams the alarm off and is tired as a doorknob. She gets up and makes some bagels, One of her favorites. She starts watching one of her shows as she eats. She's already ready for school because she wore the clothes she's wearing to school to bed. She looks at her phone camera and checks if she looks okay with her freshly cut purple/pink hair (it's really short when it's curly), glasses and her outfit of her skull sweatpants, and her shirt from an anime she watches.
As her mom wakes up and makes sure she's ready, Luna looks at the location of the bus and takes her temperature, "You're all good" Luna's mom says . They walk outside and wait for the bus to come. "Hey!" Luna's neighbor from across the street says as she takes her cans to the street. "Hello". Luna's Mom and her neighbor continue talking and she texts her complicated ex boyfriend (They are friends now) and her best friend Avery. As Luna's bus arrives, she hugs her Mom goodbye, she says "Love you bye" , and her Mom repeats.
God, I love my mom so much. i don't know what i'd do without her. Not like I can't do chores or anything. I mean like, actually LIVE, Luna thinks to herself. Luna looks at the screenshot on her phone of the symptoms of separation anxiety. She keeps thinking that she has it, But she knows she can't self diagnose, Maybe it's just anxiety?.
See, Luna cries whenever she thinks about her mom dying. Whenever her Mom is not with her she has panic attacks, can't think straight. She doesn't really have a coping mechanism for it, she just waits till the school day is over and her Mom comes home from work. One of her "coping mechanisms" is just hugging her, so she knows when the last time she hugged her mom.
