This is one of those books you instantly fall in love with,it has this enticing mechanism that simply lures you to it; maybe it's the flawless grammar, smooth flow or just the setting itself...but to me none of this things drew me into sticking to it,so what did?
Well what else could it be but the beat of the younger one's heart when he caught the older staring, how hard he tried to keep him entertained just so he could be certain that the look in his eyes...eyes that he wished he could look into just to know the beauty hidden within them was fixed on him and him alone or maybe it was in how he lit up when the stranger finally spoke to him..
So this book is basically about this guy who loves playing football with his friends, sound quite plain right?...but it's not why he plays the game that should get your attention but where he does it from.See my good friend only does it where he's once saw his crush pass by in hoping that he'd once again see the mysterious stranger that seemed to catch his eye and he does time and time again but never fully stops to watch the game.
What happens when the younger male's wishes come true? What happens when the older fellow finally decides to stay? What happens when his eyes stops roaming round the pitch and remains on the younger's smaller frame? What happens when the younger trips due to the awfully muddy ground just seconds away from scoring a much needed win?...What happens when he finds the stranger gone?
Ps: I suck at this so please bare with me.
