"What are you doing here?"  Kiara stepped aside to let him in "I thought you weren't coming for a few weeks!"

Dean walked in, looking around with appreciation. "We were in the area and thought to, I don't know, drop by." He looks at the kitchen. "Plus, I could smell your amazing cooking from outside."

"Well then, you're just in time," she replied, heading back to the kitchen.

Dean followed her, leaning against the counter with a relaxed look. "So, what's on the menu? Is it something fancy or just your usual veggie chop-fest?"

Kiara turned, a smile lighting up her face. "I promise this time, you'll actually like what I made. It's my famous garlic pasta—edible and everything!"

Dean raised an eyebrow, feigning disbelief. "Edible, huh? Last time you tried to cook, we ended up ordering pizza."

"Okay, that was one time!" she laughed, rolling her eyes. "But seriously, you and Sam are welcome to stay as long as you want. I missed you guys."

Dean pushed off the counter, his expression softening. "You sure? Last time we crashed here, your place turned into a monster movie set."

"Yeah, but it was fun!" Kiara replied, leaning closer as she added more herbs to the sauce. "And besides, I've got a few friends coming over for dinner. It'll be a party! Just try not to scare them off with your 'charming' personality."

"Charming? I prefer 'charismatic,'" he shot back

"Right, right. Whatever helps you sleep at night," she teased.

Dean took a seat at her kitchen island, resting his chin on his hand, watching her with a teasing glint in his eyes. "I'm really glad I came. I could use a break from all the craziness," Dean said, his smile fading slightly.

Just then, the mood shifted, and Kiara could see something was bothering him. "So, what's really going on? You're not just here to eat my cooking, are you?"

Dean leaned back, looking more serious now. "Well, I have some news. Sam's on his way over, and let's just say he's not in the best mood."

Kiara frowned, concern growing. "What happened? Did he run into another demons thing?"

Dean chuckled but didn't look happy. "You could say that. Something went wrong during the last hunt. He's really upset and wants to talk to you about it. I thought it would be better to warn you."

"Great. Just what I need tonight," Kiara said, her worry deepening. "Is he going to be okay?"

Dean shrugged, but his expression was serious. "Sam's tough. He just gets a little intense sometimes. But I'm sure you can handle him. You've got a way of getting him to relax."

"Or making him more frustrated," she said, trying to keep things light. "Maybe I should offer him some cookies. That always seems to help."

"Yeah, cookies solve everything!" Dean laughed. "But seriously, I'm glad I came here."

Just then, the door swung open again, and Sam walked in, looking stressed and upset. His tall figure filled the doorway, and he didn't seem to notice Dean at first. Her heart raced with excitement. Moments later, Sam walked in, his face lighting up at the sight of her.

"Kiara!" he exclaimed, grinning widely as he stepped inside. "It's so good to see you!"

"Sam!" she shouted, rushing around the counter to throw her arms around him. "I can't believe you're here! I missed you so much!" As they embraced, Dean leaned against the doorframe, a proud smile on his face.

Stepping back, Sam laughed, ruffling her hair playfully. "Wow, you've really outdone yourself. I can smell the garlic from the door!"

Kiara beamed, her energy infectious. "I hope you're ready to eat! It's my famous garlic pasta, and it's going to be amazing! You've got to tell me if it's better than the stuff at that Italian place we went to."

"I have no doubt it'll be better," Sam replied, leaning against the counter, his demeanor relaxed. "I trust you."

"Come on, sit with me while we wait for my friends to get here!" Kiara pulled Sam over to the kitchen island, hopping up onto a stool. "I can't believe how long it's been since we all hung out together."

Sam settled onto a stool beside her, his expression softening as he looked at her. "Yeah, it really has. I've missed this. Just hanging out, eating good food."

"Remember that time we made that awful chili?" Kiara asked, her eyes sparkling with mischief.

Sam chuckled, shaking his head. "How could I forget? We nearly set the kitchen on fire trying to impress Dean!"

"Or when we made the ridiculous cupcakes and they turned into a gooey mess," Kiara added, laughing. "Dean's face was priceless!"

Dean crossed his arms, leaning against the wall with a grin. "I had to clean that up, you know."

"Oh, come on! You loved it," Kiara shot back, still giggling. "It was a masterpiece." As they shared stories and laughter, Dean watched them with a proud smile. Seeing Sam relaxed and cheerful made him happy; it was clear that Kiara had a special way of lifting his brother's spirits.

"Hey, remember our epic game nights?" Kiara asked, her voice brimming with excitement. "The three of us against the world?"

"Those were some of the best nights," Sam said, his eyes gleaming with nostalgia. "You always managed to come up with the craziest rules."

"And you always let me win!" Kiara teased, nudging him playfully.

Dean chuckled, shaking his head. "I can't believe you guys would gang up on me like that."

"Ganging up? It was teamwork!" Kiara laughed. "And you were just too easy to beat."

Kiara jumped off her stool, her energy bouncing back. "Alright, we've got to set the table before my friends get here!" she declared, clapping her hands together.

Dean rolled his eyes playfully. "You're like a kid on Christmas morning, you know that?" He grabbed a stack of plates from the cabinet and set them down on the counter with a flourish. "Alright, who's putting the forks and knives out?"

"I got this!" Kiara said enthusiastically, rushing to the drawer and pulling out shiny forks and knives. She arranged them neatly, her movements quick and precise, just like they used to do at Bobby's house. "Remember how we used to help Bobby set the table for dinner? He always insisted on having everything done right or Judy would-"

"Yeah, lecture us if we messed it up," Sam chimed in, smiling as he placed the chairs around the table. "I can still hear her saying, 'It's not a picnic, kids!'"

Dean chuckled, picking up a couple of cups and setting them next to the plates. "Right? And then he'd always make his famous chili. I can't believe how many times we had that."

Kiara laughed, picturing Bobby's kitchen filled with the smell of his cooking. "I miss those days. It was always so comforting to be together like that."

"Same," Sam said, his eyes lighting up as he placed the last chair at the table. "It felt like a real family dinner, even if it was just us."

"Exactly!" Kiara agreed, putting the forks down with a satisfied smile. "And speaking of family, I want tonight to feel special."

As they continued setting up, Sam carefully arranged the food on the table, making sure everything looked inviting. "Looks good, right? I think we're ready for an army," he joked, eyeing the generous spread of cookies, pasta, and garlic bread.

Kiara stepped back, admiring their work. "Perfect!" she said, her heart warming at the thought of her friends arriving soon. "Thanks for helping, you two. It means a lot." As Kiara looked around, she felt a wave of happiness. This was her people, and tonight was going to be special."

"Now, let's get ready for some fun!" she said as the doorbell rang in the background.
