It's lean and smooth.
That's the first thing Mark notices. The feeling caused by the touch lingering on his fingertips makes his mind fuzzy.
"Why so slow tonight?" the girl asks him showing off her seducing smile.
"Just," Mark inhales sharply. "I just feel like worshiping you tonight."
It wasn't a lie. The reason why he called Jangmi tonight was to get distracted. And what is the easiest way to get distracted?
"Oh, that's an unexpected answer, not gonna lie," she blinks her eyes, still holding that powerful smile on her full lips.
They continue and once it's all over, Mark kisses her lips sloppily and kicks her out afterwards. Or rather just opens the door for her. And it's nothing the girl wasn't expecting, she knew the boy like the back of her small hand.
"Call me when you need to let out this frustration of yours again," she winks at him and walks away.
The door is shut, the bedsheets changed and the thoughts of the boy are still occupying his mind. The thing is, he saw everything. He saw the way he was treated by the man that day. He saw the tears in his eyes, but he couldn't help him. He wanted, but he stopped right in his tracks when he saw the determination in the boy's eyes. The boy noticed him observing the situation and as if suddenly the boy was redeemed. He started laughing, which made the man confused and then all of the possible suddenness, the boy punched the man hard on his face and kicked him in the lower abdomen with his knee.
The boy then stole the money from the man's wallet and smirked. He didn't even spare a look Mark's way. He left the man coughing on the ground and Mark with his mouth widely open.
Mark tries not to think about him, but it has already been a week and his mind keeps disobeying him. It's not like he's interested in him in any way, it's just interesting how the boy handled the situation. So unexpectedly.

Mark isn't in a college anymore, but he's still very popular amongst the students of his alma mater. Sometimes it's genuinely nice to see his dongsaengs showing him their gummy and boxy smiles, their eyes scrolling over stupid jokes he makes as soon as their conversations start and Mark is happy. That's what he is. Just happy.
"I see you're bothering us again, Lee," says the boy approaching him slowly.
"Always so fiesty, Renjun," he glares at the boy.
He'a visiting his college because of this certain boy who called him early in the morning and ordered him to come. And the boy is so feisty, so difficult to cope with, that Mark's quick to decide whether going home isn't just much better choice at the moment.
