Ch 13

(That night)

Y/n walked around the park. Then the island. He tried to get things out of his mind. But there are one thing he can't seem to get it out. How do he ended up hugging Laffey...

He just thought that he unconsciously did that. In coincidence, he met Laffey.

Y/n:"Hey, Laffey."

Laffey:"H-hi, Y/n."

Y/n:"Are you taking a walk too?"

Laffey:"Yeah. Wanna walk with me?"

Y/n:"S-sure."

They walk together, not too far from each other and not too close. It was getting chilly. Laffey suddenly sneezes.

Y/n:"Bless you."

Laffey:"Thanks. It is getting a little cold, right?"

Y/n:"Yeah... Here, this will make you a little warmer."

Y/n wraps his arm around Laffey's shoulder.

Laffey:"A-ah...!"

Laffey was blushing. She can feel the warmth of Y/N's body. She felt comfortable with that.

Y/n:"S-sorry, is it uncomfortable? I'll stop now..."

Laffey:"N-no... I feel comfortable actually... Please don't remove your arm..."

Y/n:"Ok..."

Then, Y/n delivered Laffey to her dorm. He returned to his dorm after that and fell asleep right away.

(The next day)

They all gathered in front of the park. Once all of them arrived, they went to the HQ of Long Island. Hood was there, holding four envelopes. It was for them. They took the envelope and are allowed to leave. They went to a cafe. They sat together and opened the envelopes, containing a sheet of paper.

All of the papers are the same. They all passed the exam. They are also told that they are back to work the next day.

(That afternoon)

While F/n and Javelin are taking a nap together, Y/n are building something with Laffey... They are building two GAMING CONSOLE with the CD ready!?

Y/n had been doing that for 2 months. And today is the last day.

After they finished building the console, Y/n made some tea and invited Laffey to drink with him.

Y/n:"Finally, my long lost favorite thing to do is back!."

Laffey:"Wanna play it together later?"

Y/n:"Sure, I would like to!"

Laffey:"But what's the game that you have?"

Y/n:"Well, we built the console out of an old model so maybe some PS TWO games."

Laffey:"Ah ok..."

After they finished drinking their tea, they played Metal Slugs and Mario.

(The next day, during their shift to patrol)

Y/n:"Our area today is pretty large. Are you guys ok if we all just cut our area to four so 1 person per area?"

All:"Ok."

After 12 hours of patrolling, their shift ended. Y/n was called to the headquarter.

(At the headquarter)

Hood:"Good afternoon, Y/n."

Y/n:"Good afternoon, Hood. Why was I called here?"

Hood:"You have a special mission. But I want to tell you something..."

Y/n:"What is it?"

Hood:"Don't tell anyone about this and the mission is very dangerous. Could you do the mission? You can decline if you want."

Y/n:"Why didn't you call the others?"

Hood:"We found your power special and different from the others. So? Will you accept it?"

Y/n:"Sure. I was bored. How long is the time limit?"

Hood:"Forever."
