Chapter 4: Frist day at the Academy

Kei's P.O.V

Today was my first day at the Ninja academy. 

Right now, I was currently getting dressed and ready to go. I decided to put on a red shirt with a purple snake on it, along with grey pants and black ninja shoes.

Once I was done getting dressed. I headed downstairs to eat whatever Anko made for breakfast.

I headed downstairs to smell something sweet.

"What's that sweet smell?" I asked, walking into the kitchen.

"So you're awake and dressed. I was just about to check on you," Anko said. "That smell is pancakes and Dango by the well nice snake shirt."

"Thanks, I love snakes. Sometimes I feel like I have a connection with snakes," I said. "Anyway, I had pancakes but never Dango. Are they any good?" I asked.

"Are they any good! Of course, are they any good kids? You aren't living until you have eaten Dango!" Anko exclaimed.

"Geez, calm down. I just never seen Dango in the Hidden Sand village," I replied.

"Well, you're going to eat some now with pancakes for breakfast. Trust me; you will love them," Anko said. "Anyway, I should start packing your lunch soon."

I nodded and began eating my breakfast while Anko was figuring out what to make me for lunch today.

'This is sweet.' I thought of eating some of my Dango.

"Dango has an interesting taste, but eggs are my still favorite food," I said. "Well, I'm going to brush my teeth," I said, standing up.

"You have no taste, kid, if you think eggs are better than Dango!" Anko exclaimed.

"Yeah, I will be brushing my teeth now," I said, heading upstairs to brush my teeth.

After brushing my teeth, I grabbed my necklace and put it around my neck.

Once I was all ready to go, I headed downstairs.

"I'm ready to go,"  I said.

"Alright then, let's go and hear your lunch," Anko said, heading me a paper bag.

"What did you make?" I asked, following Anko outside the house.

"I made you rice, and there is a water bottle in there," Anko replied.

"Great sounds good," I said.

"Glad you think so, now let's get going. You don't want to be late on your first day at the Academy," Anko said, locking the door, before continuing our walk to the academy.

Once we reached the Academy. I follow Anko inside of the building.

"So, which class am I in?" I asked.

"This way," Anko said, leading me down the hall to room 113. "This is the classroom," she said, opening the door.

I followed her inside and saw kids my age looking at me.

"Anko, what are you doing here?" A male voice asked.

I look to see a man with brown hair, and a scar on his nose.

"I sure the Hokage mention a new student. Well, this is her," Anko said, looking over at me.

"Oh, your Kei, the new student," he said, smiling at me. "I'm Iruka, and I will be your sensei."
