Advice from the Older Brother

"I am very much not mentally prepared for this." Nishinoya thought as he tried to regain his composure and ease his nervous state while he stood in front of the foreign adult in front of him, he couldn't help it, because he is the older brother of the girl he likes. "I feel like crawling into a hole and just stay there."

And what's more the raven-haired male wanted to confront Nishinoya one on one which was even more nerve-racking.

On the other hand, Leonel couldn't help but wonder why the short libero is staring at him with an unexplainable weird expression, making him sweatdrop at the sight. "I wonder what my sister see in him?" Leonel thought, quite amused by the situation at hand.

Sugawara had left not too long ago, leaving the two alone with the air awkward and slightly tense. Nishinoya swallowed the lump in his throat and trying his best to subdue his panicking heartbeat. Got to calm down! Pull it together! You got this damn it!

Nishinoya lets out a deep breath, before facing the raven-haired adult completely. He was very tall compared to himself, having a comparable height to Tsukishima but much taller, his build is purely muscles to which anyone can easily notice, he has tanned skin and having the same eye color as Octavia.

Leonel couldn't help but stifle a chuckle at Nishinoya's intense staring. "Falling for me too, kid?" Leonel jokingly said that caught the libero off guard and dumbfounded.

"HUH!?" Nishinoya burst out panicking and doing weird hand gestures as he begins stammering words Leonel couldn't understand and just starts laughing at him malfunctioning. "I was just messing around kid relax," Leonel said trying to calm down the short libero and smiles teasingly.

"Also, I pretty much know you have a thing for my little sister." Nishinoya flinched at hearing the adult's words and paused like he was discovered doing a crime in broad daylight.

The libero slowly thinks about how does he even knows about his feelings toward her and Immediately, one person came to his mind. Remembering the night they went home after the misunderstanding and the first having a conversation with the raven-haired adult. Suga-san?

"Anyways," The raven-haired adult began. "Let's introduce ourselves first before anything else."

"Leonel Saito, the eldest brother of Octavia. Nice to meet you." Leonel smiled lightly and reach out his hand for a handshake.

Nishinoya musters up the courage to speak and took Leonel's outstretched hand.

"N-Nishinoya Yuu," The libero stutters and does a ninety degrees bow afterward which surprised Leonel at his sudden action. "It's nice to finally meet you, Nii-san!"

And the adult couldn't help but let out a laugh at Nishinoya's outburst causing the short libero to get flustered. "Well, I don't mind you calling me brother. Nishinoya-kun." Leonel smiles. "Well then, there's a whole lot I would like to question." And ponders for a bit. "Although, I think I will save it for another time."

"Nishinoya-kun, from what I have heard. You like my sister, is that correct?" Leonel asked and Nishinoya nods his head eagerly in confirmation.

"Yes. I, I very much like Octavia, Nii-san." The libero looks down and a soft smile made its way across his lips. "But..."

"You haven't told her yet?" The adult spoke to which Nishinoya stifle a timid laugh, a faint blush evident on his cheeks. "No. Not yet, Nii-san." He said as he clutches onto his jersey shirt.

"It's just... I, I wanted to spend more time and know more about her." Nishinoya softly smiles before he looks down at his feet, but Leonel was able to see it.

"Actually at first, Nii-san. We would talk through a chat at night and before it would end short. Although, I kept going, and finally I was able to reach her and as many days passed, I was able to be with her, and discover a little more about her."

"Our daily conversation no longer ends short, I get to witness a different side of her, I get to see her smile and laugh more." Nishinoya begins to reminisce back to the day he first saw Octavia. "And by the end of the day, I always realize... my feelings keep on growing."

"I want to be closer to her before admitting how I sincerely feel towards her." Nishinoya timidly finishes his words and Leonel sadly smiles at him before patting the libero on his shoulder, luckily Nishinoya was looking down and couldn't see what was written in Leonel's eyes.

"I'll be honest with you as well, Nishinoya." Leonel begins and Nishinoya looks up at the adult to see a closed-eyed smile, "Actually the thought of my little sister being in a relationship, made me wary. I wanted to make sure, I don't like to see her crying, that's the very least I want..."

"I always hope for the best for her, I want to see her living her life to the fullest filled with contentment, and I guess, there's nothing for me to be doubtful anymore."

"You're a great person, Nishinoya, and I'm very much happy to hear it from you that my sister is doing well---" Leonel paused for a moment, staring at the short libero before letting out a breath to regain his composure. "Nishinoya-kun, I have a huge favor to ask of you."

"Stay by her side until then and," Nishinoya's eyes widen at the words he mouthed out. "Please don't keep her waiting for too long."

Leonel Saito's POV

I saunter my way to the school's gate wanting to return home in a hurry before my sister finds out I've been to her school, but I was immediately reminded of something which caused me to stop in my tracks completely.

"In the end, I couldn't tell him myself," I spoke before turning around to take a look at the place I walked off to and thought back to the conversation I had with Koushi.

"Koushi. About Nishinoya. He's unaware of Octavia's condition, doesn't he?"

Koushi just looks down before speaking. "It's just, it felt like I don't have the right to tell him, it would be better if the news came from you or Octavia."

I place my right hand at the back of my neck.

"Then, I also don't have the right to explain it to him," I utter as I continue to retrace my steps back home.
