Darkness is it?
That name that they have given you?
the dangerours description that
frightens most
but fright in me, you may not cause.
I've unlocked the door which had
since been sealed
I've freed the poor souls which
trembled beneath the cover of your
jet black hide
And they ran free
stretching thier tired, worn
limbs
pumping life into the cold bones within
thier skin
i stayed and took thier place
for which you may not disturb.
Darkness, inside you
there is eternal and infinite midnight
But you do not comprehend is i carry a light.
i light deep within my lungs.
it screams for liberty.
so do quake in fear.
Darkness, i am your death.
