Jasmine's POV:

          I was sitting on the bed thinking about what my family was doing right now. I thought about my best friend Cory he's probably worried sick.
 
         He was always checking on me making sure I was ok. I then realize that I had a phone and jumped out the bed and locked the door to the room.

        I then grabbed my phone and ran to the bathroom, shutting the door and locking it. I set up my phone yesterday so all I had to do was put in my contacts.

      I dialed his number and called Cory. I heard a very shaky voice answer the phone, it sounded like he's been crying.

        "Hello?" He said in a deep voice "Cory it's me Jaz" I said trying to whisper so that nobody heard me. It was a long pause before he answered me.

       "Jazmine is it really you???" He said with excitement be yet still sounded worried. "Yea it's me..." I was so glad to hear his voice that I barely knew what to say.

         "Jaz where are you everyone has been looking for you and your all over the news" he said "I don't know where I am, all I know is that I'm in this guys big ass mansion" I said trying to say my sentence quick.

         "What's the guys name?" He said shuffling around. "His name is Mateo and his brothers name is Ayo there's another girl here too named Klondike" I said.

       "I heard about her she went missing a few months back she was on the missing people wall at Walmart" he said "Don't worry Jaz we're gonna find you just try to find out where you are"

       "Ok Cory.... I miss you bruh, I just wanna go home I hate it here" I said feeling tears run down my face. "Stay strong Jazmine, I'll call you back I gotta go tell your mom about this" he said.

       I then remembered about my mom she's probably horrified. "Tell my mom I love her, Ok" I said in a shaky tone. "Ok" he said before hanging up.

         Tears continued to run down my face. My heart sank in pain, I could feel my eyes burning. I didn't even care if  Mateo came in and beat me, I wanted to go home.

        I heard banging and yelling coming from the room door, I didn't move I just sat there with my head down. I hid my phone under the sink all the way in the back so he wouldn't know I called someone.

        I then heard a loud thud, it sounded as if whoever was yelling had broke the door down. I already knew it was Mateo, the footsteps lead to the bathroom door.

       He started to bang on the door telling me to open it. I still didn't move, I just watched the door rattle as he banged on it and scream to the top of his lungs.

           The banging suddenly stopped and it went silent. There was nothing but silence, I didn't even hear him walk away. I looked down at the bottom of the door and I saw a shadow figure right in front of it.

         My heart started pounding, I knew that if he got that door open it was over for me.

           After a couple more minutes of silence the lock of the door started to rattle and the door swung open. And Mateo walked in with hate and anger in his eyes. He grabbed me by my leg and dragged me out of the bathroom.

          He picked me up and threw me on the bed, to where he was standing between my legs and I was on my back. He grabbed my neck firmly but I was able to breathe this time.

"What the fuck were you doing that made you not wanna open the god damn door!?" He said with anger in his voice....
