Chapter One: The Request

I have no finished the game yet so my apologies for any game play mistakes

Aether smiled as he "took out" another group of thieves just outside of Liyue Harbor. It's been quite some time since the Rex Lapis ordeal and it had been even longer since he had left Mondstadt, unable to visit in all the chaos.

In other words, he was rather surprised when Barbara came running up to him with her arms bent closely to her shoulders, watching the rocks under her to avoid tripping. Aether finished picking up the contents of the chest left behind by the thieves. He knew he would be unable to return it all but it was better off in his hands then in the open.

"Traveler!" Barbara called as he finally reached him. She panted bending over to catch her breath. She put her arm out with one finger up signaling she needed a moment.

"I thought I told you, you can call me Aether." He smiled and patiently waited for her to continue. She smiled and stood up straight.

"Right, sorry." She stopped talking, which puzzled Aether. Was she not here for something?

"What are you doing so far from Mondstadt?" He prompted.

"Oh right!" Aether shook his head slightly at her forgetfulness. She fumbled around with her pockets in her dress a bit before pulling out a slightly wrinkled envelope. "Sorry about the wrinkles. It was a long trip here."

She gave a tired smile and motioned for him to open it. He complied, neatly opening around the Mondstadt seal, which seeming odd to him. He began to read the letter as Barbara was getting ready to leave.

'Dear Honorary Knight,
It has come to my attention that the Wolf archon of the North has been missing in action along with the wolves of Wolvendom. Despite our searches for Razor, the Wolf raised human you and Outrider Amber met on your travels, we have been unable to locate any of them. Therefore, I am summoning you, as well as a few others, to a meeting to discuss this issue and listen to my proposed idea. Please make you way back to Mondstadt as soon as possible.
May Barbatos protect you on your way,
Acting Grand Master Jean.'

Aether began folding the letter, wondering who the others summoned were. He was lucky that he finished his quests and ventures here and was able to start back to Mondstadt right away.

He finally looked up to thank Barbara for delivering this message to him and apologize for the long trip, only to find she had already left. And so, he began his track to the place that first welcomed him, with Paimon sleeping soundly as she floated behind him, using magic to follow him without effort.

Meanwhile in the town of Liyue, a fatui stood at the edge of a high balcony. He was watching the people walk around, ordering food and talking to stand workers.

He felt a light tap on his back as a girl he had never seen before smiled at him sweetly. She wore a maid dress and had short grey hair cut between her jaw and shoulders. Despite her obvious occupation, she had a large sword strapped to her back.

"Hello," she said simply. "A message from Mondstadt." She handed him a envelope with the Anemo cities seal.

"And to who do I owe the pleasure of receiving this from?" Childe asked with a small smile.

"I'm Noelle, a maid serving the Knights of Favonius. This is a message from Acting Grand Master Jean. She did not tell me of the contents, seems important." She then spun on her heel and walked off, clearly dreading the trip home.

"Hmm." Childe pondering while reading the note. It said that he was being summoned because of the missing Archon. He pondered why he, a fatui, would be summoned and trusted in this matter. But his question was quickly answered as the note mentioned he was chosen because of his mentions in a 'Honorary Knight's' letters.

He didn't recall any Honorary Knight that could have mentioned it. But his curious nature told him to simply go and ask questions once he knew more.

Once again, our vision moves to another spot in Liyue Harbor, where a certain black haired male had just received the exact same letter from a very tired
Noelle. She had ran to get the letter to him quickly after delivering Childes.

He simply nodded and began to head over to find the fatui, planning to 'barrow' some resources for the journey.

They all had a long trip to make to meet with the Acting Grand Master.
