I look around,
There's darkness everywhere,
Filling this unknown territory.
I feel them,
His eyes watching my every move,
Waiting for me to figure it out.
I continue to search the room.
When he suddenly spoke,
His voice as crystal and soft,
Such as a cloud floating around,
Filling the silent room.
He said,
"To know where you are,
You must pass the test.
You're not in a room,
but hope for the best."
I did as he said,
and let my hope fill the room.
Realization dawned upon me.
The familiarity of this place,
Letting me know to trust the voice.
I am not in a room.
And when he came out of the dark corner,
The love I felt was strong.
My brother walked to me.
"You were lost and scared,
All that surrounded you was darkness.
I found you once again and light will lead the way."
We walked off,
To explore the inner beauty,
Of the one place I call home,
My heart.
