December,12 6:00pm
White snow covered the floor as I walk down the street to my friend Erens house Today's the first day I'm seeing my him for the past 4 months since the incident. The bright blue sky fades into a vibrant orange as I've been walking for at least 30 minutes. I don't own a car and Erens parents are at work and don't want anyone over so I have to sneak in so the alarm doesn't go off. I figured that if I started walking at around 6 then I should make it there around 7 so it would be dark by then. I turned on my playlist and put one headphone in since I still had to watch my surroundings.
7:15 pm
I let out a neck burning sigh of relief I was at the back of Erens house. I whence as I take my earbud out of my ear. My ears have always been sensitive to the cold but I had brought earmuffs so that helped a little. I text him telling him I was there and start walking to the tree in his yard. I flinch as I set my foot on the tree I hadn't realized how cold my feet were. I let it go and placed my hands on the branches above it and pull myself up.
By the time I had reached the top my feet were KILLING me which made me irritated. I try to open the window but it wouldn't budge. I take out my phone keeping my balance by holding onto a branch because the one I was standing on was unreliable. He hadn't read my text. I farrow my eyebrows. And swing my head back to the window I look the best I can and see a figure laying in the bed, I let out an annoyed sigh and start texting and calling him telling him to wake up but he still doesn't move. This was starting to get annoying. I started banning on the window. *its 7:00 at night why is he sleeping, he totally forgot I was coming over. It's so dark outside does he want me to get kidnapped?* I think to myself as I continue banging on the widow. I see him shoot up from his bed as he scans his room and makes eye contact with me and mumbles a cuss word and runs to the window. My anger slips away as I see him look at me. Wait....what?
