Lore: Born into a poor family he saw the unjustly treatment of the people of his state. When he turned 13 he became a mercenary, during this time he met bayek this encounter soon turned him into a assassin. Bayek taught him everything he knows including the use of the hidden blade, however he did not like the sacrifice of a finger that is why he modified it to his liking. When he turned 15 he learned all of bayek's teachings. However all things must come to an end, on bayek's deathbed he asked ray to expand the creed so he may die knowing the world has it's protectors from the shadows.
2 years has passed and ray is already 17 years old he has expanded the creed by training his fellow street children in the same way bayek did to him. But on one fateful night he is wounded, he decided to take a break at a nearby cave, but fate had other plans when he entered the cave something whispered to his ear, he followed it he went down the cave that seemed like days, but alas at the bottom of the cave a sword stuck in the ceiling of the cave bathed in the moon's light. He took it, now gaining it's name and abilities.

Using it's abilities he saved the poor from their oppressors. The king heard of his deeds and wanted to recruit him to be one of his knights. But alas the assassin declined saying " i will not pledge myself to one man, i will serve no one man, i hear the cries of the people and i respond to them. However shall these people perish because of you i will not hesitate to cut you down. I will not join your knights but i will protect the people from the shadows."
However on one fateful day one of his missions gone wrong and he was badly wounded. Accepting that this is his death, but one knight of the round table saved him. Sir gawain saved the assassin from the near death experience that he had thus cementing his friendship with the knight.
The assassin watched mordred from being a kid into growing up Knowing that she is the king's daughter. Knowing this he protected her from the shadows everyday. But when she rebelled the assassin tried to stop her from entering camelot, but he hesitated to end her saying " i will not cut down the only one i see as my daughter" he let her stab him in the torso with clarent.
Knowing this is his end he called all of the assassin that is hiding and watching the fight and gathering them for the last time His last line before his death " spread my brothers and sisters spread the brotherhood help the people. And remember, nothing is true everything is permitted."
