SIRIUS BLACK WAS TERRIFIED that he liked his best friend. He truly, genuinely was terrified of the fact.

Daisy was all he could think about, absorbing every thought of his. During class and during his own free time. This made things difficult for him as well, because, he couldn't exactly ignore her. The two had just made amends a few weeks ago, but it also made being around her extremely difficult- because the more Sirius was around her, the more he realized how much he likes her.

For the first time in their friendship, Sirius learned that a lot of things he did regarding Daisy- were not normal.

Staring at her lips while she spoke was not normal, knowing her exact smell; which is vanilla and cinnamon was not normal, having her exact schedule memorized was not normal.

So now he struggled to appear normal in front of the girl, because all he could do when he looked at her, is have his eyes fall to those lips, and how could he not when she'd put her pencil against them, or bite her bottom lip. How could he not look at those perfect lips, while she was practically begging him to?

But most importantly, and by far the most concerning, Sirius struggled to be around Daisy and Remus without almost losing his shit.

He was jealous, terribly jealous of their friendship. Which was a shitty thing, he knew that. He'd always known that Daisy and Remus's friendship was different to the rest, closer than usual, but he hadn't even realized how much it bothered him up until two weeks ago when he'd walked into the common room and the two had fallen asleep curled up next to each other.

Sirius was upset with Remus for along time after that.

But he couldn't exactly tell Remus that, it wasn't like he could go up to his friend and be like, "Hey, fuck you! I like that girl, so stop letting her sleep on you." without Remus finding out how Sirius truly felt for Daisy.

Then again, he could always ask the pair if they had feelings for each other, but deep down, Sirius was too scared to know, so for now, he just let his imagination fill in the blanks.

Daisy hummed to herself quietly, as Sirius had watched her from afar.

The boy had been waiting for James, who had told him to meet him in the Library, while Daisy had been waiting for Remus- both for very different reasons. Sirius; to pull a prank, and Daisy; to study.

The girl had been concentrated, tapping her pencil on her book, flipping through the pages and examining them- her red hair falling out of her bun slightly as she craned her neck to read through her book, she had been so involved in her studies that she hadn't even noticed Sirius slipped into the seat in front of her.

And while Daisy was studying, Sirius was examing his friend in awe, he'd never seen someone so beautiful.

Finally, Daisy looks up and notices Sirius, perking up when she saw him- but also was surprised at the sight of him, it was rare to ever see Sirius in the library.
