"we have got to leave quickly if we want to be there before it gets dark," Anne whispered to her seat mate who was paying attention to the teacher. "unlike last time when it was raining and so dark that we had to use our cellphones as extra flashlights."
a soft laughter was let out by mitch who tried his hardest to not lose his focus. "well back then both of our bicycles were equipped with broken lights and the road was extremely slippery, today's forecast is said to be mostly dry so we should be good."
as the duo left the classroom mitch felt a pair of eyes burning on his back. "are you alright?" his friend asked him after his look had raised her concerns. "i'm alright but something over there isn't," he walked over to a dark classroom where the door has been slightly opened. he let out a deep sigh before started his sentence. "frank could you please stop, i've told you plenty of times that this is making me uncomfortable and that this isn't healthy for you." he told his classmate. "B-BUT... i swear i wasn't spying on you! i swear! mitch why do you only see the worst in me!" frank screeched. by passers were started to peek, wanting to know what human could possibly sound that high pitched. "how can i see you differently if all you have shown me is nothing but ur creepy gestures!" now the two had both yelled at each other. anne was staring too at this point, not knowing what to do since she didn't want to escalate the situation and turn into mitch's other friend who had fallen into the hands of frank. before someone could say another word, a teacher showed up and took control of the dispute. after the negative pair were scolded by the teacher for everyone who walked by to see, frank ran off crying as she normally did.

"mitch," anne stammered out, trying to distance herself from the place where frank previously stood as much as possible. "i think we should go tomorrow since we could go earlier and take our time... i'll contact the store and see if they even could put aside the volumes we want!"
"oh, you're leaving right now then ? will you be okay with heading home alone ?" mitch asked. "yes, i think that would be the best idea, see you tomorrow then and text me once you're home." anne said before running off. he immediately knew why she wanted to go home.
frank.
mitch to this day doesn't know how it happened but somewhere this year, frank became interested in him. normally this wouldn't mean a thing to him since he could just simply ignore her but apparently for mitch this meant a lot. in the 7 months they've known each other mitch had multiple moments where she would lash out on mitch's friends, especially if they were female. so it was no shocker to him when his girl friends would cancel plans with him after they had been spotted with mitch by frank. especially after what had happened to his first female friend, giulia.

"hey! i thought you were going downtown today with ur bestie?" timothy asked as he threw his arm around his friend. "what happened, i saw anne leaving with mingyu just now?"
mitch sighed, "oh, this is how it was supposed to be i guess. it's like a curse im telling you." he sounded upset after he had learned that his friend went home with the wing spiker. "it's better this way though. she probably felt unsafe, scared that she would meet the same fate as giulia you know? lets just go to my home so we can hangout." he said while fixing his scarf. the two left and shared some laughter trying to lift up the heavy ambience.

"you mean 'our home' right honey bunny?" frank whispered to herself while holding a strand of mitch's hair.
