|III||Baby, I'm freaking Moana|
Aiyana was nice enough to lend Divine some of her clothes.
Divine was sitting cross-legged, staring at her borrowed outfit while Aiyana sat on a stool, tending to Divine's hair.
Great, I be looking like freaking Moana.
Aiyana stood up, "done." Making Divine follow suit by standing too, feeling her puffed up curly hair.
Now I really am bloody Moana!
Only for Aiyana to smack her hand, "you're going to ruin it." She warned, shifting away to loosen her own weave.
"I'm going to the river bank behind here to bathe, are you sure you don't want a bath too before you leave?" She walked to the back, pulling a curtain of rafia beads, revealing her backyard.
Sure, I'll bathe in an open river where peeping Thomas' will watch me. Divine shook her head, arms crossed.
Aiyana shrugged, using her hands to rake through her loosened hair, straightening it so it wouldn't get tangled.
"Dua?" Divine gushed running towards her and encasing her in a huge. "No wonder you looked so dang familiar, you really should always leave your hair down."
She released her from the bear hug. "Now what sort of stupid prank did y'all plan for me because I'm def over it already! Scared the shit outa me making me believe there was no America..."
She stopped when she saw the confused look from Dua's look alike.
"You're not Dua are you...?"
"No, as I said before I'm Aiyana, I think you should eat something before you go. Clear your head up..." She added awkwardly.
Great! Now Ancient Dua thinks I'm a nutcase.
She backed away into the hut while the other slipped off her short dress.
Stuffing her now dried clothes into a bag Ancient Dua gave her, "so I really am trapped in ancient times..." She sighed. "How did I get here? And more importantly, how do I get back?"
She sighed, grabbing a corn cob wrapped in a sheet, sinking her teeth into it then just deciding to carry the whole sheet with the corn.
After all Ancient Dua said she should eat before she left.
She looked back into the cosy hut before making her way out.
Now where to from here?
Walking in the direction of the breeze she set off. Hopefully, this was the era the Pilgrims were arriving in the Mayflower, she'd just dress up like them and well... the rest would be history.
Except, she wasn't at all religious so would be spotted out quickly and probably end up getting burned.
Ugh, medieval traditions.
Lost in her thoughts, she was distracted from hearing the hooves of cattle coming her way.
Then she felt the ground shaking as they made their way closer to her, turning around slowly, she saw it.
A stampede!
Like a deer caught in headlights she was fixated to the ground, not being able to move.
Until...
Someone threw her out of the way.
She landed on the red earth, her saviour on top of her.
The stranger got off her as the cattle continued running away from whatever, their hooves making the ground quake.
Divine expecting him to be a gentleman and help her up, still laid on the ground, trying to see her hero's face which was shaded and dark because of the sun's super bright rays.
Imma shoot you one day sun!
But she didn't get what she expected.
"What the hell is wrong with you?! Wanna get run over? Stupid girl!"

[Unedited]
Suspense...
Any ideas for who this rude asf hero's gonna be?
Unlike my other works... chapters here finna be real short, aiming for less than 1000 words but more than 500. I guess it's a good thing, now y'all got no excuses for not reading! ☺
Vote if you want to see what Divine looks like! ❤
