As she sat there, the goddess of love, she felt something she's never had before. Jealousy.
She had no idea why she was feeling this unknown feeling. So, she asked iris why she was feeling this. The goddess of the rainbow, instead of showing her, just told her six simple words.
Because you will never have him.
Aphrodite was puzzled. She got what ever she wanted. Always. There was never a single time when she didn't. She had the looks which could get her anything she desired, and the voice, which could manipulate even the strongest of minds. Suddenly, she felt a huge burst of love. She teleported, only to see her uncle, Poseidon, with a pretty young women, and a boy. A very handsome young boy actually. Aphrodite looked into his fate.She was very impressed, because right now this child couldn't even harm a small dog When he grew up, he would beat her husband in a fight, retrieve the golden fleece, Zeus' master bolt, he would survive the labyrinth, kill the Titan lord Kronos, and Gaea, and survive Tartarus. But what threw her off, was the love him and an Athena spawn. She decided to make that Athena spawn, Annabeth was her name, a little competition. She decided to bless this child, so his looks reviled the primordial Eros. She said the ancient tomb and he was surrounded in a pink light. She then left and waited, for his time.
