"Have you decided?" George asked.

Oh damn. Here we go.

"Actually...You are super nice and funny," I looked at Fred, "You too. It's just I don't think it's such a good idea to be dating anybody right now. Especially with all the stuff with the tri-wizard tournament, I-"

"Wow, what an amazing speech." Draco said sarcastically, "What a way to break two people's heart."

"Go away, Malfoy." I told him sternly.

"No. Why should I?"

"Because you're a fuck-" I snapped.

"Wow, no cursing, remember?" George cut me off.

"I don't give a fuck if I curse! And Malfoy is a good reason to!" I turned towards Draco, "Get the hell away from me!"

"Ok we'll go..." Fred said.

"Yea, I need to find Harry." I replied as they both left.

Draco was still there.

"What?!" I exclaimed.

"How's your day been?"

What was he trying to do?

"Bad because I had to talk to you." I began to walk away.

"Ok, why do you hate me so much? I don't do anything to you." Draco said seriously.

Is this supposed to be a joke or something?!

"Are you serious?! Malfoy you make my life hell! You're rude and you never keep your mouth shut. Just stay away from me." I walked away.

"That's going to be hard." He said before I turned into a different corridor.

"He's a bitch." I mumbled to myself.

~time skip/2 days~

Today McGongall was going to give us lessons on dancing. This should be interesting.

"The yule ball has been a tradition of the tri-wizard tournament since it's inception. One the eve of Christmas night, we and our guests will gather in the great hall for a night of well mannered frivolity. As representatives of the host school I expect each and every one of you to put your best foot forward," McGongall spoke, "and I mean this literally because, the yule ball, is first and foremost, a dance."

Everyone started chattering.

"Maybe you can ask George, Astra." Hermione grinned at me.

"I'm-no I can't..." I smiled and looked down at my lap.

"Silence! The house of Godric Gryffindor has commanded the respect of the wizard worlds for nearly ten centuries. I will not have any of you that evening ruining that name by behaving of a babbling, bubbling, band of baboons!"

I looked up and the twins, George whispered something to Fred and they started whispering together.

"Inside every girl, a secret swan is about to burst...ready to take flight."

I saw Ron whisper something to Seamus then laugh.

"Inside every boy, a lordly lion prepared to prance. Mr. Weasley!" McGonagoll walked over to him.

"Yes..." Ron looked up at her.

"Will you join me please?" She asked.

Ron slowly got up, Harry push him as he did. They went into the dance floor.

"Place your right hand on my waist." She stated.

"Wa-?!"

"Your hand on my waist." She moved his hand to her waist.

Someone whistled which made him move.

The music started playing.

"1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3-" McGongall said.

I looked at the twins who were doing this weird dance, I laughed. Me laughing made Harry laugh, then the twins laughed.

"The Potters and the Weasleys." McGonagall let out a puff of air, "all of you, come out here. Now."

"Ohh shit." I mumbled before standing up.

Harry and the twins did too.

"Let's switch things up a bit, yes? Mr. Weasley." The twins both looked at her, "Fred, come with me. Mr. Potter and Ron go together, George so with Ms. Potter."

"Better than you." I whispered to Harry before stepping up to George.

There was more whistles when we all got paired up. I looked over at Harry and Ron who both looked super uncomfortable. I started laughing, then George did, then Fred, and pretty soon everyone was except McGonagall and Filch.

Though we were both laughing like crazy, George still gripped his hands on my waist, he kept them there.

"Silence! This is not a joke!" McGonagall exclaimed.

Everyone stopped laughing.

"Ms. Potter and Mr. Weasley, can you tell me what was so funny that you two started laughing like maniacs?!" McGonagall asked George and I.

"Well, Harry and Ron." I stated.

"Would you rather be paired with Mr. Weasley? Ron Weasley."

"No!" George exclaimed and slightly laughed.

"Yes! Please!" Ron exclaimed at the same time.

"No, Professor." I said softly.

"Good. Everyone find a partner. You all can find different partners if that's what you please." McGonagall told the four of us.

"I should find a different partner." I said.

"Why? It seems to me that all the good guys are taken." He gripped my waist even more.

I looked behind him, Hermione had her eyebrows raised and was smiling giving me a look.

"Fine, I'll stay..." I said.

We all started dancing. One dance had a bow where George had to lower me. That part was coming up.

Then he lowered me, and at that moment he whispered, "do you want to go to the yule ball with me?"

"George, I said I didn't want a relationship-"

"Relax, Astra." He smiled, "We can go as friends. So, I'll ask again, do you want to go to the yule ball with me?"

"Yea...Of course..." I whispered back.

"Perfect," he brought me back up.

Ok, the time for the song when George lowered her is 0:57 seconds and when he asks her the question the time is 1:00. I thought it'd be more dramatic lmao.
