(8) Smile For Me?

I'M SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SORRY!!!!  I know it's been forever since I updated, but I really had no motivation to keep writing, and I didn't leave myself in a place where I was flowing with ideas at the end of last chapter. 

For a quick refresh: some of Hinata's friends had basically built up a wall for themselves, where they wouldn't let anyone see their emotions, Shoyou helped take that wall down, but they were hurt when he left. They just realized Hinata was back, so they all were a bit shaken up. To prevent people from seeing them with emotions I guess, they ran away to a private space. Shoyo saw this however, and thought they were mad at him, so after he catches up with his old friends, he goes to look for them. Meanwhile, the boys who had left, realized that Shoyou might think they're mad at him, which they don't want, so they go to talk to him as well...

+~Hinata POV~+

I part ways from the majority of my old friends, and start heading into the halls of the main building, taking in everything as I go. *It looks a lot different then the middle schools did when I went to them*.

I continue exploring until I see the familiar color of Zach's hoodie that I gave him a really long time ago. *Aww, he kept it* I smile at that thought, and then quickly proceed to run down the hall and turn towards to corridor I saw them run into.

I had chased them around for about a minute and a half before I finally caught up. They had stopped to catch a breath, and I was about 16 feet away, still unseen by them. Suddenly I started getting nervous again, I felt tears start forming in my eyes, but I quickly wiped them away. I then proceeded to walk towards them, but I couldn't bring myself to look them in the eyes, so I stared at the ground as my feet slowly moved me closer to my old friends.

+~Zach's POV~+

I look up from catching my breath to see Hinata, the person I needed the most in my life, looking down, all wilted, and walking slowly  towards us. "Guy's, look!", I said. Almost immediately everyone looked up to see him, and we all quickly moved in his direction.

+~Hinata POV~+

I looked up from the ground for a moment, and as I did, I got engulfed in a hug from Bailey, soon to be joined by everyone else. "I- I thought you guys ere m-mad at me" tears threatening to fall again as I sad it. Bailey looked straight into my eyes as I started finishing the sentence, "We could never hate you, your a huge part of all of our lives, and we couldn't imagine them without you." I looked away from his eyes, though he held my face so I wasn't able to turn my head. "B-but you all left during the ceramo-", Baily cut me off and said "now you look here, we did that because we weren't expecting you to come back, we left so we could compose ourselves, we all missed you a lot, and it took a huge toll on some of us when you left. We understand why and don't blame you at all, but that doesn't mean it didn't hurt to see you go."

I looked around the group as Bailey finished talking, some looked slightly glad, some slightly guilty, but the all looked at me in a way that I knew that I did nothing wrong, and that everything was okay. Bailey let go of me and Zach walked up and he quickly embraced me releasing almost immediately, I look at him surprised since normally he hates giving hugs, "I hate seeing you all sad, please, just smile for me." I couldn't hold back the tears anymore and I just let them silently fall, but this time, they were happy tears. "Thank you guys so much, and even though I have to go back to Japan in 2 months, I'll make sure to make this time special." I gave them a smile, and everyone took turns hugging me, and sending me encouraging words. 

Finally after about 5 more minutes of this, we all walk back to the area where the celebration was being held, and we all just kind of had fun. I met back up with my old friends, so we all talked, and soon some of my friends (I'm just gonna call his current friends his friends) got bored so they came over and joined in the conversation. 

I made sure my teammates and other people there knew to tell the others I had classes together and that we would play volleyball afterwards. That brought up the question from my old teammates, "What team will you be playing on? I know that you are actually using this camp to get stronger, since your going to nationals, but I really want to play on your team again!", I looked over at Adrian, "Your whining is annoying, stop," Adrian pouted, "But honestly, that's a good questions, I guess I'll play with my team, and how about every Saturday I'll play on your guy's team, it'll be good practice for everyone else I guess." I looked at all my old friends and smiled, "I'm excite to get to play with you all again, but you have to be sure not to make fun of me, I stopped playing volleyball for a while, and my receives are still kinda sloppy." This time it was my turn to pout.

The next thing I know Violet is patting my head freaking out, "Awwww! your sooooo adorable! Are you sure we can't get together!?" I rolled my eyes and ignored her, I didn't have the energy to deal with this. Suddenly Tanaka who was over here with us said, "My man, I like you a lot, but your receives are horrible!" I looked over at him and laughed a bit. He avoided his eyes and his face turned a bit red, which made me laugh even more. and for the rest of the night we all just had fun, eventually taking a limo back to my mansion with all my friends, including my old ones, who were gonna all have a sleepover in my room, well, the girls were gonna stay in Kiyoko and Yachi's room to get to know them better but whatever.

OMG!!! I'm SOOOOOOO sorry for not updating sooner! I honestly don't have any excuse except for writer's block and no motivation

Next chapter they will be finally playing volleyball, and that's when it's gonna start getting SUPER interesting
