~Chapter One~

I walked silently down the road toward U.A High school, both worry and anxiety clouding my thoughts.
I would be joining U.A in the middle of the year. I thought back to what my jerk of a brother Tiloh had said...
"I can't believe they accepted a little bitch like you," He snickered.  I had flinched.
I thought he wouldn't let me go, but, to my luck, he told me to leave. I was surprised at first, but I figured it was jut to get rid of me.
I walked up to the doubled doors of the school, I hesitantly opened them.
There were students in the hall, some of them looked at me. I tried to ignore them, walking inside and rushing toward the principal's office.
Principle Nezu, the door read. I knocked softly.
"Come in!" I heard from inside.
I opened the door and froze, a large mouse-looking man wearing a suit stood beside tea machine.
"Good morning, Miss Toli," The man greeted me with a smile, "Your schedule is on the sofa."
I looked toward the purple velvet couch. Surely, a piece of paper rests on one of the cushions.
I picked up my schedule and read it.
My breath hitched; I was in class 1A.

I opened the door to class 1A with a sense of anxiety, there was all eyes on me. I swallowed and looked toward the teacher; Shouta Aizawa. 
"Come in, Toli," Aizawa grumbled I hesitantly nodded.
I walked inside and quietly closed the door, I turned to Aizawa but remained by the door.
A lot of the students stared at me silently, I must have looked scared or something because they looked concerned.
"Introduce yourself and tell everyone your quirk," Aizawa said, snapping my attention away from the class.
I looked at the floor and hid my face behind my curtain of long, wavy white hair.
"Many name i-is R-Raven T-Toli," I whispered, but to where the class could still hear me. "Many quirk is c-called 'Haunting'. I-I can s-summon a d-demon and h-have him p-possess my o-opponent, or f-fight them off for m-me."
"Tch," An ash-blonde spiky-haired red-eyed boy scoffed, "With a quirk like that, you're better off a villain."
I flinched. Although it wasn't the first time I heard it, it was the first time I heard it from someone besides my brother.
"Bakugou," Aizawa growled, " I will not hesitate to send you to Nezu."
Bakugou remained silent, glaring at me with silent intensity.
Aizawa sighed tiredly. "Toli, take a seat beside Todoroki. Todoroki, raise your hand."
A boy with hair that was half white and half red hair rolled his eyes, but raised his hand.
I walked toward the empty seat beside him and sat down silently. I felt a lot of gazes on me, I hid my face beneath my hair.
Its going to be a long day.

P.O.V: Todoroki

I stared at the white-haired grayish-bluish eyed girl beside me, I felt a feeling I couldn't identify swell up inside me.
Seeing her so uncomfortable... It made me want to shield her away from all of the other people staring at her in confusion and curiosity.
I reframe from it, especially since this feeling had come out of nowhere. I tried to shove the feeling into a box, but it somehow escapes.
It was stronger now.
No matter what, I'm going to protect this girl.
