Chapter 2 - Hayato~

We were just sitting there, waiting. We could've stayed there forever, until Joseph stood up and broke the silence, saying, "Let's open the lottery boxes from the fiftieth update!"

"Okay, but stop yelling." I said to him.

We all went into our menus and selected the raffle boxes. At the same time, the boxes, that were only a one inch cube, materialized in out hands.

Sophie looked at me and Joseph and said, "I'll open mine last."

She was always really lucky. She wins almost every raffle at school, she always wins at rock, paper, scissors, and more. Thats why she wants to open her's last. She wants to save the best for last.

"Then I'll sta-" I tried to say.

Joseph butted in, "I'll go first!" His face just radiates excitement. He tapped the circle on his box, and it exploded. "Ahh!" He shouted.

A message appeared right over his face.

He jumped and punched the air with a big smile on his face. "I got 5 million Yuld!"

My jaw dropped lower than the lowest note I could play on a cello. "Okay... I'll open mine." my finger was shaky, not from the wind blowing onto the hill, but for the pressure for getting something good. I pressed the button, and the little cube exploded.

A message appeared on my visual. "You have won 100 Teleport Crystals!"

I facepalmed.

"What did you get?" Joseph asked in a flash.

I looked at my inventory two hundred teleport crystals were stocked in my inventory. "Another hundred teleport crystals."

Sophie dropped one of her potions she was examining and exclaimed at the moment the bottle hit the ground, "I bought that first hundred for you!"

"Its okay Xavier. You don't need anything else." Joseph felt bad for me.

Sophie said, picking up the bottle from the ground, "Don't worry. I won't dissapoint you guys with my box. I promise you."

This always happens. She knows she's lucky, and she always gets something good.

She pressed the button, and once again it exploded.

"It looks like I got a Navigation Pixie." She smiled.

I crossed my arms and explained to Joseph, "They're rare. The only other time you could get one was when the game first came out, so they could show the players around the new world they can explore. Navigation Pixies are supposed to help the player in dungeons by telling them the map floor and to be a guide for beginners. They're programs with a personality."

"This is weird." Sophie said. "It tells me to put in a code to get the raffle present." She put her right arm on her hip. "Oh, it says to enter the code in the next update. I wonder what will happen, if I put the code into it now..." She opened up her menu to the "Insert Code" screen.

"Don't do it." I said, "Maybe it'll turn you into a Navigation Pixie." I was being sarcastic.

Sophie was entering the code. "Don't worry Xavier. It'll be fine. What are the chances of me becoming a Pixie anyway?" She pressed the "Enter" button, and Sophie's body turned to light. She was shrinking.

"Sophie!" Joseph shouted. His face filled with worry.

The light stopped shining.

"Huh?" Sophie said. "Why are you guys so big?" She was the size of the palm of my hand.

I started to laugh. "I told you so!"

"What?" She looked around and flew. "I'm a Navigation Pixie..."

Joseph picked her up in his little hands. "Well. You're unique, and you still look the same as before with your hair on your shoulders and with your Un Spring in hand, except a little bit shorter."

"A little bit? She's tiny!" I called out.

Sophie opened her menu. "I can still equip armor and fight." She flew around even more. "I imagine the map of the city, and my hit box is definately smaller."

"Those are some pros that a Navigation Pixie can use." Something dawned on me. "How are you going to fight in the tournament!"

"I can still try... It's fine being this way anyway. If I can't compete, I'll just call a GM."

Joseph jumped into our conversation. "Lets sign up for the tournament!"

"Okay." My sister and I said in unison.

We all pulled up our menu's and clicked the sign that said "Join Tournament (Starting Tomorrow.)"

It seemed that there wasn't any trouble with Sophie entering. I felt relieved, until I read the time of the tournament.

"Tomorrow!" We all shouted.

"Well, we can still meet others around the arena." My "little" sister said.

We ran down the hill. Sophie was flying the whole way. I ran down with no trouble. Joseph stumbled and rolled down the hill, but he was the first one to reach the bottom, crashing into someone.

"Ow..." Joseph said lying on the ground.

"Are you alright?" A Cait Sith, another fairy race, with nine tails asked him. He was also on the ground. He got up and reached out his hand to help my brother.

"Yeah..." He took his hand and got up.

Two more fairies walked to the Cait Sith and Joseph. One was an Imp dressed up in a pirate outfit with an eyepatch. He was holding a cat o' nine tails. "Alisina made this just for you." He cracked the whip and smiled creepily. The other fairy was a Spriggan wearing a torn cape and holding a scythe twice as tall as him.

I rushed down there as fast as I could. Sophie flew down to save him as well. I equipped my staff and started an incantation. "Pú ein-"

"Pik sol lunes!" The Spriggan chanted an incantation faster than me.

Everyone in the vicinity didn't move at all, and no one said a thing.

I couldn't move or speak, so I fell down the hill and slid down the hill on my stomach. I landed right in front of Joseph who was also stiff. Sophie fell on my stomach. It must've been the Spriggan.

The Imp broke the silence by cracking the whip and saying, "Take it."
