He is a demon. Demon's stand a top the highest pillar when it comes to the supernatural world. Demons are second only to God's and Goddesses, which makes demon's extremely powerful.
Because I'm a demon, it was incredibly easy to sniff out the bloodsuckers. But wait, the leeches are not the only ones here. I also sense some shifters in the village next to Forks.
