Today of all days her club meeting ran very late and it was also sprinkling out. Luckily for her, she loved the rain. No matter what month it was , if it rained she was happy. But it was late January and the rain fell coldly on her uniform as she walked out of school that night. She could see not many people out of their homes out and about. But the silence was good once and while. She sang a song on her way to the bus stop and there was no one out to hear her. The bus took a little longer than expected probably because of the weather. I stepped in the almost vacant bus and sat in the first empty seat there and faced the window directly in front of me. Shortly after a couple stops a boy got on the bus and he caught her attention. Not because his clothes were dark and complexity was light but because his hair was black and long. She didn't notice she was staring until he finished paying his bus fair and looked directly at her. She instantly looked to the window and felt her face turn hot and red. He noticed and sat right in front of her. Blocking her view the window. Their eyes met for about eight seconds before she got smart and looked in her bag for a book to read and distract herself from the interesting boy I front of her. He said "You know It's scientifically proven that it only takes eight seconds to find love at first sight?". She looked up from her book and said "ohh really?" In a sarcastic tone just to return to her book. No one ever talked to her in the public bus ,ever. That was the one thing that changed the routine of the day.
