I am broken. Complete and utterly broken. My mother was gone and my father is an abusive alcoholic. And my ex boyfriend Ryan had done awful things to me. I can't take it anymore.
As I walk down the busy streets of figure 8, I feel like some part of me belongs. But what part? I know something inside me wants to not be broken but I don't understand how I can move on from all that has happened to me.
"Y/n!" I hear someone shout from behind me
"Hey Sarah, what's up?" I ask
"How have you been lately?" She says
"I've been coping" I shrug
"Good" she nods
"What about you? Kook princess" I ask
"Pretty good" she says
"Well well. Look what the cat dragged in" a voice says
I turn and see Ryan.
He pushes me to the ground causing me to get a cut on my arm and a small gash on my cheek.
"Hey!" Sarah says
"What do you want?" I ask him standing up
"To see you of course" he says touching my hair
"Don't touch me" I say slapping his hand
"Why not?" He asks
"She said stop Ryan" Sarah says
"Doesn't mean I have to listen" he says rubbing my arm
"Stop!" I shout pulling away from him
He grabs my arm tight
"Listen to me you little bitch, you may have not let me take advantage of you, but I will" he growls
"She said stop Ryan!" I hear Rafe shout
Ryan lets me go
"What do you want?!" Ryan asks
"What I want, is for you to leave y/n and my sister the fuck alone" He says to Ryan
"Don't fall for her Rafe, she's pretty bad at sex you know" Ryan smirks looking at me up and down
"Back off man" Rafe says looking at me and he could see that I was uncomfortable
"Or what?" Ryan says
"Just go Ryan, you know we are over already so go!" I shout
Ryan looks at Rafe in the eyes and then backs off and walks away
"Thank you Rafe" I smile
"No biggie" he says
"Let's go back to our place and get you cleaned up" Sarah says
~TIME SKIP~
"Sit up here" Rafe says pointing to the Bench
"Ouch" I say climbing on it
"You okay?" He asks
"I'm fine" I sigh
"I'll be upstairs" Sarah says
I nod
"I can't thank you enough Rafe" I smile
"It's no big deal" he says
"I really appreciate it" I say
"You know, you aren't so bad" he says placing the wet towel on my arm
"Neither are you" I say
He smiles
"I'm sorry this happened to you y/n, you don't deserve it" he says
"I do" I sigh
"No, you don't" he says firmly
"Have you seen how horribly my life has turned out?" I ask
"No but even if it's bad, you don't deserve this either way" he says
"Why are you so nice to me?" I ask
"I have no reason to not like you" he smiles
I smile
You know Rafe Cameron isn't bad after all
