"Dad"? I tried using my phone to call him but he won't answer. I took awhile thinking about why he was taking so long. I finally made up my mind, he must of went hunting.......Old Richards maybe?
I called one last time then left a message.
"Dad, where are you, you've been gone for 5 or so hours. Are you okay, call me back when you get this!"
'Something is wrong' I thought to my self, 'he's never been gone long, and with out calling or texting? It usually only takes 1 hour to get into town, another hour to buy everything and one more to get back home.'
Well, he hasn't answered yet so I might as well get started on my chores!
For the past hour I clean my room, bathroom, kitchen and go hunting. I catched 2 turkeys, 1 rabbit and a deer.
The rabbit was easy to get, the other two were a little harder though.
A couple hours later..............
I finally come back from hunting to see that he's not here, but a couple minutes later the phone rings.
I answer the phone a few seconds later
"Hello?" I answer
"Hello, is this Dayton Roberts?"
"Yes I'm Dayton, your calling for my dad right? What happened is he okay?"
"Yes, this is Woods Valley, Hospital. I'm Nurse Kelly Winston, your father was in an accident, he was put on life support. We tried calling you sooner but the reception out there was really bad. I'm sorry we couldn't have got a hold of you sooner. Ahem Ms. Roberts are you there?"
In what felt Like an eternity I finally answered back.
"Yes, I'm here."
"Okay, Dayton we are sending Over a nurse to bring you to the hospital. Is that fine?"
"Oh um yeah, when are they going to be here?"
"He's going to be there in 35 or so minutes, when I called you he was already driving there."
"Oh okay, thank you for the information. I will I be able to stay the night? At the hospital of course."
" Yes honey, you will be able to. We will discuss everything when you get here, bye."
"Bye Nurse Winston."
She sounded kinda of annoyed at me for asking too much questions. Oh well, I let out a long sign then went and packed a couple of things like a phone charger, game boy, tamagotchi, food, a couple magazines and books. Then I heard the sound of a car door slam and foot steps that led to a knock on the front door. I quickly got my things and opened up the door.
A tall, slim but fit man about 30 with blonde hair stood at the door, he looked feminine but masculine at the same time he looked nice though.
"Hello, You're the nurse that was sent to get me right? I'm Dayton Roberts."
"Hello, Yes I'm Levi Thomas, you look worried we should head to the hospital as fast as possible."
With that being said Levi and I started to make our way to the Hospital.
