Wooden Girl (Discontinued)

He's in a what?.....

As soon as we get there, I run straight to the front desk, I'm about to speak when Levi stops me and tells me that I don't have to sign in And that I could go in side. We take the elevator to the 3rd flour where the intensive care unit is. As I'm speed walking to the room Levi told me my dad was in, he stoped to talk to other Nurses and tells me to go ahead. I was practically running, when I dumped into a boy who looking down at his phone while walking, I didn't even feel it until he looked up  and Cursed under his breath. Then he glared at me with mad look on his face, I turned around and said sorry so fast that it sounded like gibberish.

Finally I got his room, you'd be surprised if I told you the amount of people that were in The ICU. Three people were talking out side his room, I  politely inserted my self into their conversation.

"Excuse me, I'm here to see my father, David Roberts, are you guys the doctors treating him?"

"Yes we are, I'm Dr Micheals" the Lady with the lab coat and red hair said.

"Oh okay, where is the nurse from the phone?. I think her name is Nurse Winston?"

"Yes honey, I am Nurse Winston." She had long dark brown hair and was literally an angel. She looked like she was in her late twenties to early thirties.

"Yeah, and I'm Dr Andrews. Your father is in critical condition, it's not as bad on the out side, but we are waiting to preform kidney transplant because the kidneys are on a flight to the hospital, it will take 24 hours or so to get here, that's why he is on life support. He also fractured a joint in his arm and broke his leg. He will still be mobile but need a few weeks in the hospital and a few months to heal."

Dr Andrews Looked like he was in his mid forties he still looked young through. he looked like he's the head of this unit, my dad used to know him, he is supposed to be really good at the job.

"Okay, can I see him now?" A tear falls from my eye to my cheek, I trie to hold the other tears back, but I managed to hold some but not all. Dr Micheals and Nurse Winston take me into my dads room while Levi and Dr Andrews check the life support machines. I say couple prayers and then the doctors and nurses leave to let me rest.

"God, I hope you heal my dad and let him live life, he is a good man and my only family. Please leave everyone with light, hope and faith upon the tragic situation."
After praying I got cozy in another hospital bed the nurses put in here, I skimmed through some magazines and played a couple of video games. Then finally I started to doze off.
